🍻 Sip into Satisfaction!
Vocation Pride & Joy Pale Ale is a classic American-style pale ale that boasts a robust hop profile layered over a balanced malty backbone. With an ABV of 4.8%, it delivers a delightful blend of tropical fruit flavors, including mango, citrus, and blueberry, complemented by earthy pine notes.

Falls shorts of expectation
In my personal opinion, Vocation Pride & Joy Pale Ale falls short of expectations, earning a modest 2 out of 5 rating. While its appearance is decent, featuring an attractive amber color and a lingering head, the flavor profile disappoints. The tropical fruit flavors promised are subdued and fail to deliver the desired impact. The balance between hops and malts feels off, with an underwhelming hop bitterness that lacks depth. Furthermore, the mouthfeel is lacking, feeling thin and lacking the desired fullness. Overall, Vocation Pride & Joy Pale Ale fails to impress, leaving much to be desired in terms of flavor and complexity.

A fine drink
*Not Verified as I bought from T----.This is good stuff, although you need a calculator to work out that Amazon is actually offering six 330ml cans. (Well, I hope: to pay over ten quid for a single can of this 5.3% brew you'd be rich enough to lead a government.) This has a good, thick head and fine lacing down the glass as you drink it. If you're familiar with Brewdog Punk you're in the same territory - full-on American style, with lots of hops and citrus, and a good bitter backwash to follow. To me this doesn't offer any more than Punk does. (The surprise Vocation brew to me so far is its 'Heart & Soul' at 4.4%, which has nearly the same impact on the taste buds, but with less alcohol.) It has taken me a while to enjoy the American style, but it's certainly a new slant on 'bitter' and this brew is up there with Punk on my scorecard. They're both good.
