Lonely Planet Tokyo (Travel Guide)

I used to have the proper paperback 20 yrs ago and needed an up to date version, so got this thinking it would be more convenient.It's hopeless, the one I had before had about 10 x the amount of information, this is so superficial it's a waste of time.

This book had excellent brief write-ups for top sights, restaurants and attractions - and plenty of info 'off-the-beaten' path.Good resource section and I prefer not having a ton of pictures, btw. Very accurate addresses and city map.

I am not happy, because has over view to JapanNot good for tourists.

Used the book to plan our trip to Tokyo in September. Very helpful.
