Wonderful! A Page Turner!
The boys are back, and it's time to try to save a certain friend, or kill him.Joshua Dalzelle has done it again, and it looks like he is preparing to tie up some story arcs. I'm not going to give away the satisfying ending. But it's a really good one. 😉This book is not at all predictable, and I'm good at predicting. This particular resolution was quite different than I could have imagined! But, I cried and celebrated at the same time. And so did our crew. Enough said.Let's just say, I anxiously await the next OMEGA FORCE book, and I hope Mr. Dalzelle never gets tired of writing them!If you're new to this series, I suggest you start with book one: OMEGA RISING. Then two, then three... You won't be able to put them down!As a whole, what is the series about? A human from earth inadvertently travels to space and learns that there are thousands of inhabited planets, and bipedal species, most of which are spacefaring. He makes some friends, gets a ship, and they travel the quadrant trying to do good. They're honorable mercenaries, for the most part. And you'll wish you were friends with these colorful and often amusing guys who are very good at fighting and shooting and blowing things up.

Fully invested
If you are reading this book then hopefully you have read the books leading up to it and this book continues the great story with the interesting fun characters you know. I’m happy Doc is more involved in this book as I felt he fell out of the recent stories even though he was there but he is more involved in this book. This book has great humor and action as the rest of the series has and any fan of the series definitely won’t be disappointed. Now back to waiting patiently for the next installment.

Another superlative book from Joshua Dalzielle
A fast and entertaining read, with some very high highs and very low lows for the characters. There is some very fair funny dialog, a particular talent of the author. My only quibble is with the editing, which overlooks poor grammar in the narrative, unclear references and other issues that slow the reader down as one tries to decipher shat was really meanr. (Just one example: at the end of the book, a paragraph ends with Jason going out on the deck. The next paragraph uses only the pronoun "he," but it is it cannot be referring to Jason. After a moment's thought it is clear the subject of the paragraph is Lucky. A good editor should have substituted that proper name for the first "he" in the paragraph in order to make clear who we were reading about. There are many such lapses in the book, and overall it reads as though it was dictated but rushed to publication without a careful edit. But given Mr. Dealzielle's gift for telling a story, his unparalleled ability to narrate action shines through and makes reading this book very enjoyable indeed. I look forward to the author's next endeavor!

Lucky number 7
Can't help but love this character. The conscious of Omega Force. Not much to write about this book. It's awesome as usual. If I could tell Joshua to include anything, it's be a hybrid daughter of Jason and Admiral Colleran. The dynamic between her and her older brother would be cool. Maybe together, they could take over OF. New spin-off series??? 😉

Excellent chapter in the series
This was an excellent book in the series. We dive into Lucky's troubles and that of the quadrants. Omega Force is once again throwing into a messy, more than usual uninformed mission. I absolutely love this is series and and I'm happy that it is finally getting more books out. I could barely put the book down and was a little sad that I had read the book so fast. I was concerned it might be a while for the next book. Or if there might be a Nextbook. And was happy to learn that there is a new one coming. I eagerly await that book and hopefully many more to come!!!

A new Omega Force book
And it’s always fun, like meeting an old friend that you’ve missed. The characters are all formed, but somewhat more mellowed, each settling into its own role and there are less sparks between them, so the Omega machine works smoothly.Mission is interesting, with enough twists and turns, action and humor to make it suspenseful and enjoyable.

Incredible
I was so happy when this book was finally released. I've been waiting for book 13 so long! It was definitely worth reading how Omega Force once again beats the odds, kicks butt, takes names, and comes out on top. It was a little Bittersweet there was some sadness, but it is so uniquely Omega Force that I can't wait for book 14 now.

This series is great
If I had to dump all the series I liked, and was only able to keep one, this would definitely be the series I kept. The story is more well-defined, and while the story continues, you're never left feeling like the book didn't tell it's own complete story. This one was based around getting the Lucky situation fixed, and it did so. Also introduced some new things without being overly complicated. Overall felt a bit more laid back, but closed off a few loose ends while placing some on the back burner while opening some new ideas. I liked it.

Nice plot, shame about the grammar
This is a more mature piece of writing than some of the earlier books in the series. It seems to complete the story arc about Lucky/Seven and there are one or two new passengers who may yet have some potential. The crew banter continues nicely and the span of the narrative is broadening. The author thinks that 'peddle' is something you operate with the foot (should be 'pedal') and that the person for whom mercenaries work is their 'principle' (should be 'principal'). Thirteen books in I am starting to feel that my wallet is being milked, so I hope the author has a conclusion in mind. Overall - still very readable.

Pot Boiler
The story felt weary, as if the author had been told to churn out one more Galactic cowboy and indian episode. By contrast, some authors, such as Steven Erikson, can produce 1000-page door-stops, and I lap them up, since every book is a rich experience in novel territory. But a series need not be epic in scope, L.E.Modisitt Jr for example, paints on a far smaller canvas, but his Imager series grips because of the central character, and an unusual take on magic.Overall, then, Omega Force 13 does not live up to its predecessors. Pity, really.

It's good, but not as good
This book seemed to be all over the place. The premise for all the previous books has been the gang doing right and sod the consequences, this one seemed far more spread out. A lot had none of the gang mentioned for ages, even if you include Seven/Lucky as one of them, the story goes on about Satvinder and the government senator whose name eludes meWhen it is about Jason and crew, the book is everything you could hope for, just need more of it

Happy to see them back.
The crew is back, and seemed to have matured. Saying that, this story is still crammed with action and the daring do that we associate with Omega Force, but they are more thoughtful somehow.I've thoroughly enjoyed these adventures from day 1, and this latest romp did not disappoint.

Another superb adventure
Sooo good, I just finished reading to hell and back, another great adventure, but it must be read after book 3 of the Terran scout series for continuity. Another cross over would be great, but Omega Force stands by itself as an awesome series of adventures
