BoschPam 220 Digital Angle Measurer and Mitre Finder

Der Winkelmesser ist robuster und schwerer als erwartet und wird mit Schutztasche geliefert.Leider war bei den integrierten Wasserwaagen-Libellen die horizontale Wasserwaage unsauber justiert. Wer sich ein wenig auskennt weiß, dass man mit dem sogenannten "Wasserwaagen-Test" unsauber justierte Libellen aufzeigt, in dem man eine Wasserwaage nach einem Messvorgang einmal um die gemessene Achse dreht und das Messergebnis nun erneut überprüft (also die Wasserwaage quasi einmal linksrum und einmal rechtsrum auf eine Fläche legt).Die Wasserwaage muss natürlich in beiden Fällen das gleiche Ergebnis anzeigen, was sie bei mir nicht tat.Da Amazon als Verkäufer daran nicht schuld ist, habe ich dies direkt bei Bosch reklamiert. Relativ schnell und unkompliziert habe ich einen neuen Ersatz-Winkelmesser bekommen. Und? Das gleiche Spiel, die integrierte Wasserwaage ist einfach nicht zu gebrauchen. Zur Verdeutlichung habe ich zwei Bilder gemacht - die Abweichnung ist erheblich.Auch wenn es sich eigentlich um einen Winkelmesser handelt, so muss die integrierte Wasserwaage dennoch funktionieren und ich möchte nicht noch zusätzlich eine zweite Wasserwaage an den Winkelmesser halten müssen um einen bestimmten Winkel in horizontaler 0 Grad Stellung zu messen. Wer denkt das sei egal: Der Winkel verändert sich bei unterschiedlicher horizontaler oder vertikaler Ausrichtung leider auch und muss, wenn man einen Winkel auf ein zweites Werkstück übertragen will, gleich sein.Nun gut, ich habe also den zweiten Winkelmesser ebenfalls reklamiert und bin gespannt. Für knapp 70,- Euro aber bislang ein schwaches Ergebnis.Je nachdem was weiter passiert, werde ich meine Rezension nochmal ergänzen.Nachtrag vom 05.07.2019-------------------------------Beim dritten Anlauf hat es geklappt und ich habe von Bosch einen ziemlich vernünftigen Winkelmesser bekommen. Da das Werkzeug an sich ja einen stabilen und wertigen Eindruck macht, erhöhe ich meine Punktzahl auf 3 Sterne.Das dreimalige Hin- und Herschicken ist einfach zuviel und auch wenn ich von dem geduldigen Bosch-Service extra Fotos einer Stichprobe verschienener Winkelmesser bzw deren Wasserwaagen-Libellen bekommen habe, bleibt ein etwas fader Beigeschmack.Wie dem auch sei, ich rate jedem Käufer die Wasserwaage im Winkelmesser zu testen. Wenn sie vernünftig funktioniert, dann ist das ein schönes Werkzeug.

Great but it leaves me questioning why there's a 3x more expensive Bosch Blue Professional version. The GAM 220 has 1 extra feature - it has an LCD on both sides of the rail. Anyway...This is very well constructed, the joint is solid with zero play at all. In general the tool is childs play to use, although if you're using the compound mitre function then watch the youtube video for the Bosch GAM 220 and you will understand exactly how that works (it's very easy when you see it done).One tip: if you have an internal corner next to a door frame, you might not be able to fit this tool against the wall for an accurate reading since the tool's leg will rest against the door frame and not the wall. Make an offcut from a piece of material to fit in the available space. Provided the offcut is thicker than the door frame, you can measure against that. This obviously only works if the offcut has parallel faces, so don't go sticking a triangle of wood against the wall and measuring that!In terms of accuracy, i tested 90 and 45 against a plastic draftsman's square and it measured perfectly.

Very accurate, that’s why you buy it right? Well, this won’t let you down. It’s bang on.It will tell you the angle but also the mitre angle which is nice, although not that hard to work out.It’s got a lovely protective case which is definitely a selling point for me.All in all, other than the price, I can’t fault it.Oh, it makes a funny whirring sound when it’s on. That’s normal.

I use this in my job alot, its doing exactly what I need. However I really could do with one that about 100mm long for the tight spots this ones fine if there only one short wall as you can slide out one of the parts to still get the angle but not all areas have a longer side long enough for this to go, so bosch if your reading this get making on lol.

I'm a bit peeved the price from Amazon has dropped by over 10% since I bought this but that's not the tool's fault! Very useful, maybe a bit of a gimmick for many people but I like it and I'll use it a lot for transferring angles from projects to my mitre/slide saw. I'm sure it will be accurate enough for my purposes, mainly making cross braced doors and gates for our barns. I got a bit of stick from my wife..... but she just doesn't understand.
