DON'T BUY THIS CHAIR!
A shame I have to give it one star. It deserves nothing. This chair is poorly constructed. Total waste of money. The back of the chair is permanently lodged into place and the chair is crooked. Due to being unable to remove the back of the chair, it will not fit back into the original box to return it so we are stuck with a $200 + piece of junk! This chair has a zipper w/ a gaping flap up the back similar to a zipper on the front of your pants! All previous photos and reviews do not show the back of the chair because they are positioned against a wall. The location of this chair in my home is not against a wall and this cheap zipper/seam is clearly visible. The seat cushion does not nestle into the chair w/o gaping in front. The cushion juts out and is not in line w/ the arms. The cushion is NOT reversible and the bottom of the cushion reveals just how cheaply it is made.Unfortunately it wasn't until after the chair was delivered and assembled that I read a similar review stating that Delta is very much aware of the defect in this chair and of customers not being able to remove the back so that it can be returned in the original packaging.Lesson learned. I'll visit a furniture store and see what I'm getting before buying!

I like this chair but don't love it
I like this chair but don't love it. The rocking and swivel are amazingly smooth. It is great for rocking baby to sleep. It also looks very good in our nursery. At a petite 5'2", the chair is perfect for my size; however, my 6'2" husband feels like (and looks like) a giant whenever he sits in it. The cushion is very firm, and the fabric is very rough. I put a throw blanket over ours because it is just too scratchy against bare skin. Also, a heads up to the future parents out there: I didn't think having a chair with head support was that big of a deal when I bought this. Fast forward to 3am feedings and all I want to do is to be able to lay my head back---something you cannot do in this chair. I'm not sure if I would buy this again. Overall, it's very functional and pretty but not very comfortable.

Creaks and squeaks with low quality fabric! Total bust!
I hate this chair. I usually don’t like to give one start reviews because I can usually find something I like, but not with this chair. I’ve had it now for about a year. My son is 11 months so I’ve been actively using it for 11 months. I would consider myself a heavy user. When he was born I used it several times per day to nurse or rock him to sleep. As the months passes I used it less and less and now I use it to rock about 3-4 times per day for the past 3-4 months. So what’s the issue? First, after about 2 mo this of use the wood started to squeak a little (for the record, I’m not overweight at all). It wasn’t that big of a deal I could just reposition myself and it was fine. The squeaking got worse as the months passed and I was outside of my return window by the time I was fed up. Plus it’s a huge chair and probably a hassle to return. Next about 8 months in the metal started to squeak. So now I have squeaky wood and squeaky metal and my son will not fall asleep in it anymore because I can’t rock much since else he can’t sleep though these loud noises! The other things that bugs me of the low quality fabric. It’s itchy and not soft at all. Also, water stains it a yellow color that makes it look like urine. You can get it cleaned and it comes out, but for goodness sakes it’s WATER!I am so fed up with this chair. We’re moving soon and it’s going in the dumpster and we’re replacing it with a better quality chair. My recommendation is if you can afford to scale up even just a little I would! This chair is worthless if you plan to use it longterm and heavily.

Love This Glider
After looking all over the internet, I decided to purchase this glider. I’m glad I did! Wow! Only two bolts and your glider is assembled! If you have to place chair inside a doorway, do that before assembling! After inserting the back piece into the tracks, I tipped the chair forward to assemble and if you don’t push the back all the way down, you can easily line up the bolts with the holes. Then push the back the rest of the way down and give it a good shove to go a bit more otherwise the bolts won’t connect to the threads in the back. Once in, tighten the bolts and you’re done! Chair is comfy and glides smoothly. Plenty of space on the seat portion. The back is not high enough to support your head if that’s what you want. You can see by photos how high it is. I purchased the sailor blue which is denim looking—goes perfect with the bedding I have. Not as deep as navy but close to color pictured. Good instructions provided.

Update: returned
update: we ended up returning this chair. It just was not comfortable enough for what we needed in a nursery. Once we sat in a few gliders in a store, I knew I wanted to return this one and spend the extra money on a more comfortable chair and matching gliding ottoman. It looked great, just wasn't the right one for us.Initial review: love the fabric and the style of this chair, and it glides and swivels very smoothly. The seat is very firm-- maybe it will soften up over time. It needs a lumbar pillow to make it really comfortable. I am 5'1" and my feet sit flat on the floor and I can comfortably lay my head against the back. My 6'3" husband would not find this chair as comfortable, but the size is pretty perfect for me.

Meh. Looks better than it really is...
Its okay, does the job but nothing to write home about. It arrived on time, undamaged, and looks as pictured. Attractive, versatile design.I'm 5'6 ,190 lbs and pregnant...to me the seating is juuuust enough for the average size adult female to sit in relative comfort. The cushions are firm. Overall, it's not uncomfortable BUT it's not "lazy boy" either if you know what I mean. Finally, its a itch to assemble. The seat brackets alongside the back cushion and seat base weren't lined up properly. Also one of the bracket crews was stripped. We had to jimmy it and force it down to slide in proper place. Thankfully my husband was able to fix it. Yet, it shouldn't have taken all that.
