I gave it as a gift and have heard high praise from its recipient as to how much they love using it. It's a very generous size and they use it to warm the foot of their bed, warm them at their desk and help soothe their midsection when Aunt Flo is messing with them LOL

I bought the extra large heat wrap, wanting something that would wrap around my lower back. This certainly does that. It is on the heavy side, which is good if you are laying down but if you are trying to use it sitting up against your lower back or side it's tough to get it in place. And becaue of it's size it's hard to get it in the microwave - I have to fold it in half, then "tuck in" the corners or it hits the side of the microwave and stops the turntable. I think it holds the heat OK. My microwave is 1000 watts. I fold it in half, heat for 1 minute & then turn it over for another minute. Then I re-fold it the opposite way & repeat, then I usually turn it over again & heat for another 30 seconds to 1 minute - so up to 5 minutes tops. So far I have not had any problem with it burning anywhere. I do wrap it in a towel when I nuke it. It does not get really hot like my smaller heat pack, but it's plenty warm enough to sooth and the heat lasts for 20-30 minutes. I specifcally bought this one because it has the removable, washable cover, but have not washed it yet.

Good quality. It is the longest one I could find, wish I could find a longer one! Nevertheless it is excellent.
