I was ready to dispose of my Craftsman 14.4V Drill #973.111290 when I finally found this replacement. With my Drill Model# nor Battery Model# not listed in description as being compatible, I was hesitant in ordering. But after reading the Q&A’s I took the chance. This battery fits, releases and operates my drill as good as the originals did. As for durability and longevity, those questions remain to be seen. Will probably order a replacement for my spare soon if this one holds up. Now if I could only find a replacement for my Craftsman original charger which still works, but does have signs of overheating at some time over the years, as well as replacement batteries for my 12V Ryobi.

Batteries arrived as said and were a perfect fit. I hadn't used that drill for years but a friend of mine mentioned I should check availability on line. Sure enough Amazon had some at a reasonable price so I ordered two. Batteries Plus wanted again as much so that is why I never had them replaced. Thanks Amazon.

This battery will not take a charge. Total waste of money.
