this is one powerful tool. It is a must have to have for headlight cleaning sanding. It is solid built for quality polish ability is great because I use it to remove light stretches from vehicles for the value my money and the polishing quality. It is worse the ease of use you won’t go wrong. It has all the power you need.

Got this to polish out headlight polycarbonate lenses with toothpaste, works like a champion. Splatters toothpaste everywhere but cuts the polish time by 90%, foam pad is much higher quality than I expected, it will last. batteries are same as other Roybi 18V tools

Just the right size for interior detailing.

Ryobi makes good value tools and since I already own the 18 volt battery it was an easy choice.

if continuously used for a full battery life not sure if last longer than a half hour continuous rarely with this type of tool would you hold trigger for a half hour straight without letting off or having 5 -10 min breaks. But as soon as it cools down works in the snap of fingers, it may be better than I explain it to the only batteries I’ve put in it so far are two knock off Ryobi seven batteries which definitely could affect it’s usage Great tool gets into all the nook and crannies wish the handle that comes with. It was compatible with other Ryobi tools. Unfortunately, the threading is not compatible with the orbital polisher. Also, I love the pads only crabby part about the pads are the Velcro part that attaches to the tool rips off the pads relatively quick, you don’t peel them off gently and if or when you wash the pads, they tend to come off quick, especially if you put them in the dryer. I recommend washing them by hand except for the wolf pad go in the wash and then No matter what air drying them or if you really wanted to put them in front of a heater or Hairdryer do not put in the dryer or else back of the pads that attached to the Velcro will come off almost immediately

Every time i need a certain power tool, ryobi to the rescue and you can buy 2 for the price of one dewalt makita milwaukee etc. Still using some of the blue ryobi tool that are still going strong from 2006ish.

Ryobi tends to be an expensive brand but I was very impressed by the quality and durability of this tool.
