If you want to hassle with plastic cups, buy the peaches.
These suffer the common Tiny Package-Messy Open syndrome. If your second grader can open these she can get a job going around the neighborhood in full-on PPE and opening them for Seniors, arthritis-Impaired, or anyone with more money than time.I use a paring knife, sit the cup on the counter, hold cup as they are designed to tip over, being cautious when puncturing plastic top not to impale your other hand then pull or use a sawing motion to go around top. Lift off and trash the top. Be careful not to spill the water/juice. (Sip it off or drain it off before throw away the top.)The Mandarin oranges are near tasteless. It matters not who you are, If you wish upon a Star and imagine taste If mandarin. You can catch it briefly. It works. Pretty color. The water they are packing in gets a zero stars for tastiness. But it’s fairly innocuous and probably harmless.I am buying canned fruit now as electric can opener (godsend to those with arthritis) is easier and less plastic waste.Packaging applies to all fruit in these cute cups. This fruit cup and its canned equivalent has virtually no dietary value. It helps fill a small hole in your stomach.

I love Mandarin oranges because they almost slip down your throat, these I had to chew.
These weren't properly prepared, still had some of the "skin" on each section, which took the enjoyment out of it for me, I don't want to have to CHEW my Mandarin oranges. The package also leaked.. surprising, because the tabs were almost impossible to pull open, a child could never do it. I had to use a knife to peel off the plastic covering. I think they leaked because someone must have used a box cutter on the "display" before it was shipped. Not an enjoyable experience, but Amazon did refund my money. I LOVE AMAZON!!

Very hard to open!
I'm a grown adult and I had a very hard time trying to peel off the plastic lid trying to open it, holding the bottom cup that the fruit is in and once it does start to open, the juice squirts out. I have to open it holding it over the sink and it still gets all over my hands. Don't ever put it in your kids lunch bag, they won't be able to open it but if they do, it will get all over them...sticky syrup! Dole needs to find an easier way to open them! Also the fruit in many of the cups was all broken up...not mandarin wedges..only a few cups were

Love the Oranges, not the fridge pack containers.
I liked the Mandarin Oranges, i liked the idea of the fridge pack, however, the reality of it was different. First, i don't believe it was 15oz and i thought it had way to much juice, compared to the cans and the tall plastic containers. Also, i found myself struggling to open the plastic seal, which is not a problem with the 23.5oz containers. Overall i really enjoyed the Oranges, just didn't care for the fridge pack containers.

Love mandarin cups
These are one of my staples along with the grapefruit cups. I prefer fresh fruit, but for some reason there is no way to find anything in the supermarket that is ripe these days. I got tired of coming home with hard fruit that doesn't ripen no matter what I try. Great value compared to the stores and I like having this many around. Be assured you won't be able to stack them singly in the fridge as they will topple over every time, so hand onto the package sleeve.
