A very good book telling us how to present well. The structure of the book is clear. Anyhow, a book by Weissman, good one!

As a presentation skills trainer, I have given thousands of presentations and thought I knew nearly everything there was to know on the subject (having read countless books on the subject in the past). This book proves I was wrong! If you're a seasoned presenter, it will consolidate what you already know, and in addition give you some excellent frameworks and tips on how you can really hone your message to be a very influential speaker. If you're new to making presentations then this will be a God send. I wish I'd had this book when I started out. It does have a particular emphasis on sales presentations (particularly raising funds for companies through IPO's), however it is still very relevant to every type of presentation. The focus of the book is undoubtedly on the designing of the presentation, and as such doesn't really touch on delivery (he's got another book for that - The Power Presenter), but in my eyes this is still the best book I've read on the subject.

It is over priced.

This is a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed it because the author speaks out to the reader as if he were guiding you through a story. It is very detailed and well put together. The diagrams provide excellent visual aid in how to organize an effective presentation. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to become a good communicator whether they present in front of a large group of people or just to an individual.
