Replacement Cable for SENNHEISER HD477 HD497 HD212 pro EH250 EH350 Headphones Black 1.2m/4ft

I'm glad to have found a replacement cable for my Sennheiser HD212Pro. The cable length is perfect and the price is right.

I used these to replace the cable I either broke or lost on my 20 year old pair of Sennheiser HD212 Pro. They work perfectly, I would say actually better than the original did. They are about 3 to 4 feet shorter, so when I'm using these headphones as I intend I wont have 4 feet of cable coiled in my pocket like I used to back when I was in college stomping about campus in my boots an M68 jacket oblivious to the world looking like a homeless vagabond blasting my iPod nano through these...Seriously worth the price to bring these headphones back to life.And no, the iPod nano is long deceased... and yes I realize I could use Bluetooth earbuds that can do talk and all that fun stuff with my phone, and I'm having to use a USB C to 3.5mm adapter anyways, but, Sound quality and the fact I can't hear the world with my HD212 Pro's on wins... Also who actually uses a cell phone to talk anyways?

Finally had to replace the cord for my Sennheiser HD497s after 16 years. This new one is different in two significant ways:1. It is at least six feet shorter than the original wire which, while it's more convenient for my daily usage, requires an extension should you and your music source be separated by more than four feet2. The insulating material is much softer and more flexible, helping to deaden the vibration from the wire rubbing against clothing or being knocked about while walking. This is the biggest improvement for me, as the sound of buttons and zippers batting against the original wire was maddening to tolerate when listening to audio

OEM cable is too long for my setup where I sit close to my PC and use a shallow depth desk. This cable fit and works perfectly while minimizing the excess cable that I have to deal with. I used to have to tie up the excess OEM cable to keep it out of my way so as not to roll over my cable by accident with my chair. With this replacement, I do not have this problem.

This cord worked for approx 2 years (bought this in 2019; now 2023), then the left channel became intermittent. At the time I didn't have much choice for a replacement. Looks like we still don't have much of a choice! I LOVE the Sennheiser HD 497 though, so I may need to go to a more reputable audio site and purchase from there and spend some $$.

I purchased one blue and one black neomusica replacement cable for my HD497's. These cables seem to be a much better build quality than the official sennheiser hd497 cables and will hopefully last longer than those flimsy things. I do wish both cables were about a foot longer.
