I think these are pretty good, and probably the best *canned* version I've ever had. Obviously, they're not as good as fresh dolmas, but they're a big step up from the canned kinds I've been served in the past. They're NOT mushy, which has been my biggest complaint from other brands. The grape leaves are soft enough to eat, but still retain some firmness. The rice is also not mushy and pretty good. I can see distinct sprigs of dill inside, which is great. The black pepper is palpable. And there's a nice, slightly tart zing.What I dislike about these is that they're swimming in slime. Not sure where it's coming from, since there doesn't seem to be ingredients on the label to create this. It's kinda like a gravy, but nearly clear and...well, slimy. I finally had a brainwave on my third helping and decided to rinse the dolmas carefully under the sink. This helped a whole lot, I was just sad thinking about washing precious vitamins down the drain.Anyway. The only other minor annoyance is that *some* of these have fibrous stems. Not all of them. But, every so often, there are super stiff little branches in there that have to be manually removed, which kind of rips apart the dolma. Not sure this is easily avoidable, from a manufacturing standpoint, but it's annoying.These are made in Egypt. 4.5 stars, will probably buy again.

BOOZE & BATTERIES!!!These "KONTOS FOODS DOLMAS" or Stuffed Grape Leaves are one of my personal Favorites & definitely one of our TOP CHOICES IN Hurricane basics! There's a Pop off top--So, No can opener is needed, Nor do they need heating or cooking!!! Enjoy!

I love stuffed grape leaves… Hard to find restaurants in Charlotte NC that make a Greek salad with them. I now make my own salads.

I love stuffed grape leaves. Let’s face it fresh is always best, but these are great for those stuffed grape leaf cravings I get. I can eat a few here and there and keep the rest in the fridge. They have a light lemon flavor. Very good.

I LOVE these dolmas. They have a great flavor and make for the perfect snack. Would definitely recommend as they are a great value for the quantity/quality.
