Honest personal insights
I was really inspired by this book. The format drew me in; written in the form of excerpts from his journal followed by his reflections on that time with hindsight. Hearing his honest and open personal insights I was encouraged to reflect on my own experiences, many of which were similar to the author's. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand themselves better.

This is a fantastic read! The author shares his diary in a very open and honest way. He explains how he came to better understand and recognise his feelings and emotions. This book is truly inspiring and I believe anyone would benefit from reading this.

Into the roots of a meaningful life
The book it's a deep journey into the emotions of the author that throughout his diary is trying to get back to his life and his joy, discovering how to live a more meaningful and beautiful Life. This book It's an amazing masterpiece that can help the reader to find a better way of living, with many small but great and powerful tools to be able to understand better the environment and the emotions that can arise because of it. We are leaving in a really caothic and unstable times and" The Vulnerable Man" can give us an example on how to face the difficulty that can arise in everyone day to day life and teach us that it's more important the journey than the destination. Don't miss this book in your bookshelf. Highly recommended!

Well written, but more a biography than an educational session
He cries a lot. A lot. I mean a lot. He documents it. That’s it.

Very thoughtful, helpful and easy to read and digest
For the longest time, my therapist asked me to join his group therapy group, but I couldn’t imagine sharing my most intimate thoughts, feelings, fears and anxieties in front of others, certainly not with anyone outside of my therapist. I did eventually join and I found it beyond helpful. Turns out, I’m not alone, not crazy and in fact I’m reasonably normal, I just process inputs differently than others. Once I learned this, my life got so much easier and I found success - and happiness - at long last. This book is like group therapy. Thomas shares his journey to a more thoughtful and enlightened existence over a couple years. I felt as though I was repeatedly talking to him out loud, saying “OMG, me too!”, “Yes!” and feeling more “normal”. If you’re an HSP, or if you love an HSP, this is a really helpful book. This isn’t the science-based approach like Elaine Aron’s excellent work. Rather, this is someone being incredibly brave, sharing his journey and helping all of us find our North Star…a guide for our journey, showing us the way, and helping us be kind to ourselves, without judgment. Highly recommend this easy-to-read and helpful book.
