absolutely love
this thing is amazing and so worth it. i've used for over 3 years now and it's been beat up and left in the weather and everything and still works great. the bluetooth is surprisingly reliable and long range. i can go inside and leave in the grill outside. i also use in the oven for things like thanksgiving turkey!

Works with igrill
Works great. Just like the ones that came with the igrill.

These things are a great assistant
These are great sensors. I used the last one of these for almost 8 years! Here's hoping the current version is still as good. I like the remote capability of these (when used with the iGrill and iGrill app). As far as correct temp, I don't know, but they're close for sure. I utilize these with a "range", and then alerts outside, which allow me to know when the smoker is getting low on fuel, or if it's going hotter than I wanted (which isn't usually a problem). Anyway, great product, at a perfectly acceptable price.

Great product, app needs work
The probes and the iGrill work great, but the app needs some work. There is no convenient way to "finish" a grill session unless all temps for all probes is reached. Also no convenient way to change the temp settings for one probe without starting a whole new grilling session, and thus losing all the data to that point. I use these with my smoker, so I would like all 10-12 hours of data, but if I change a setpoint at hour 6, I lose the first 6 hours of data. Not user friendly app. But the ambient probe, meat probes, and the iGrill work great.

Cookery Nirvana
Where have you been all my life, Weber iGrill Ambient Probe? I did not know what true culinary love was before you! You couple with my iGrill 2 and tell me the internal temperature of my oven when I'm baking bread, and my smoker when I'm smoking the lovely briskets and pork butts and chickens and turkeys and orangutans - oh! Wait! Not orangutans - to perfection. ALL ON MY PHONE! And, when I need to wander away leaving the monitoring to others, your gentle words of heat can be read on the display of the iGrill 2! Not like that sullen iGrill MIni that refuses to speak to anyone but my phone. I love you, Weber iGrill Pro Ambient Probe, but there's another. Actually several. Sorry. I love my internal probes, my iGrill 2 and my iGrill Mini as well. I guess we're a culinary commune...

Great addition for iGrill
First off, the iGrill has worked flawlessly for me. I can throw on the meat and monitor it on my tablet or phone inside and only go outside if I need to make adjustments. With the Weber iGrill, I cooked a perfect turkey for Thanksgiving using the meat thermometer and extra probe to monitor ceramic grill temp. This probe is great and thicker for just monitoring the grill temp. Comes with a clip for the grate and allows you to put it where the meat is cooking. MUCH better than the horrible grill thermometers on the lids. Mine is off by at least 50 degrees. Now I know the exact temp of the grill. Love it.

Just what I needed!
I've been grilling for decades, and for the most part have used the instant read thermometer, which I still use. But I've recently been trying out smoking on my Weber grill, and this is fantastic for doing that. I can keep an eye on the temp of the grill and the meat without having to constantly stab it with the Instant read, and even be in the house when I'm using it, and keep track with my iphone. I've seen some reviews that pan it, but I'm guessing that they really didn't understand how to use it. It's working great for me!

This fit and worked great
This fit my Weber thermometer and I wonder why there wasn't an ambient temperature probe included from the start. Seems pretty accurate when compared to instant read thermometer.

Ordered This As Ours Had Failed, And It's A Great Product, Worked Just As Described And I Love It. One Key Note Prior To Ordering, Write To Weber And See What They Will Do For You, When I Ordered This Product, My Wife Wrote To Weber Customer Service, Who In Turn Sent Us A New One Free Of Charge. It's All Good As Now I Have A Spare, But Would Recommend Trying To Source First.
