Worked well to reattach button
Worked perfectly to reattach button on my ottoman. But the wax coating was a bit sticky and made it difficult to slide the twine. But the result was fine after all.

The directions were clear and the process was just as easy

Great for upholstered buttons on my tufted headboard project
This is very heavy duty thread that is waxed in such a way that it is very easy to work with and will hold a knot like steel. I installed 19 3/4-inch upholstered buttons through firm 2-inch foam core mounted on 3/4-inch plywood, drawing the buttons over fabric and batting into the foam core to a depth of 1 inch, then secured the thread on the back of the plywood using staples, then knotting the ends. The waxed thread is easy to hold with fingers and tools, and does not slip under staples or when knotted.

Very strong, works well for upholstery
I purchased this for buttons in reupholstering an ottoman so it had to be thin enough for my needle but very strong because of the tension. It worked great!

It works, but there may be more durable options
As much as I hate to say it,(since I think C. S. Osborne is way too pricey in my opinion) if you are trying to decide between Dritz and C. S. Osborne, for attaching buttons when upholstering, the C. S. Osborne just feels more durable and seems to tie more securely.

Button thread for tufted chairs
This was exactly what I needed but was unable to find elsewhere, In fact, the quality was better than the small amount of button thread that I was using. I bought the thread because I didn't have enough to finish the upholstery job on a couple of tufted chairs. The button thread that I was using was not waxed but what I purchased was. It proved to to be most beneficial in tying off the covered buttons on the chairs.
