Are the noodles long-how long?

Typical short egg noodle length - about 1-1 1/2" long.

Are people really willing to pay $12 for two 12oz. bags??

I can't answer for other people, but I am. I hadn't seen these noodles for years. My local grocery chain does not carry this noodle style reason being not in high demand. I grew up eating these noodles in several casseroles, soups and sides. I feel not as many noodles are needed because of the width so it's well worth the price. To me $6.00 a bag is OK.

Do they no longer make medium egg noodles?

Yes they still make medium and large noodles. They may just not be currently available because of the virus
