Love it. Worked great on my first big brew day! Only complaint would be it not having an ounce reading, but we can use math.

I use this scale for brewing beer. It's the perfect size for handling 5-gallon buckets of grain, and it's very accurate. The price is much better on amazon than most specialty brewing stores.

AS PICTURED AND DESCRIBED

Got my product and attempted to turn it on. Scale did not turn on. It is not a plug in so I thought perhaps batteries weren't included. Opene up the back and yes batteries where there. Checked to see if they perhaps weren't lined up properly. Readjusted them. Still did not turn on. Went out and bought some new batteries, put them in and the scale worked. Annoyed that it was not loaded with working batteries. Would have been less annoyed if the write up said "4 AA batteries needed, not included."

Works just like it should. Easy to read and simple to operate.

The size and quality seem to be good but as far as I'm concerned there's a big problem with the LCD screen. The issue is that it has a very narrow viewing angle. You need to place the LCD unit in odd positions in order to be able to see any data.First photo is viewing from appx 30° above the unit......LCD is clear and bright.2nd photo.....level and parallel to unit....as you view from lower angles the numbers fade out until....3rd photo......it becomes unreadable just below level.For the money paid and brand involved I am surprised at how poorly executed this scale is. I own a LOT of great Blichmann brewing equipment and this product was supposedly developed by the homebrewing legend John Palmer.....this is not their best work.Unfortunately I threw out the box and can't return it.

Quality and accurate scale, as you'd expect. Can't go from oz to lbs... you'll have to do your own math... but, it's well built and does the job.

Roughly 14% weighing error. Sorry it's a fail

Second one we bought as the first one came incomplete. I know it’s two years in but considering we barely used it, we were hoping it would still work, it does NOT! Very sad because we thought for the money we paid it would last longer. Hope they review this and figure out a way to improve on their product!
