“The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Japanese artist Hokusai – also known as the “Hokusai Wave” – is featured on the front of this set of 12 greeting cards by 3d Rose. I’m obsessed with images of this wave, owning prints, a  flipbook , and various shots of it being used in pop culture. Until now, I have never found Wave cards. If you are a fan of this image, buy this set. The cards are well made, printed on thick stock paper with a matte laminate finish for the front image. The blank 6 x 6-sized interior allows plenty of room to write your message.Retail card companies will label envelopes of square cards with “Additional Postage Required” in the stamp area (see example pic.) These envelopes aren’t marked, but their non standard size will increase the postage by a minimum of 10-20 cents for a 1 ounce mailing – prices go up from there based on additional weight. Be sure to weigh this before mailing.This is a good price for a beautiful reproduction of a iconic image.

I was hoping to use these to shelter sending 4x6" pictures but these are not to size. Otherwise, very pretty.
