Most certainly, this is a must have for any academic study concerning architecture. In fact, all of Western Architecture can trace its inspiration from this treaties.

I bought the paperback [ISBN 9798691392429]. The text is very small and - I have never seen this in a book before - center justified. These two features make the paperback hard to read. There are reference numbers throughout the text but to what I don't know. There are references to non-existent photos. There is not one single diagram in this book.
