MOOGK6723 Steering Idler Arm Bracket for Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Good quality, fits and works as it sghould.

This part is a perfect fit. I'm sure it will hold up for a long time. My truck has a lift and oversize tires so I don't expect it to last as long as it would on a stock pickup, but it has been tight for a while now. Happy with price and quality.

I purchased this with the MOOG Idler Arm to replace the entire set up on my Wife's 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71. As stated in my review of the Idler Arm, it was a perfect fit, easy to install, and very solid. I would definitely recommend MOOG parts to anyone looking for replacement parts for their mechanical needs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the third Moog suspension item I have purchased in the past year slowly updating my front end. Quality is second to none in my opinion.

I bought this for my 2005 Silverado 2500HD because I was replacing the idler arm and figured I'd go ahead and order this part too so I wasn't surprised if it was also worn. Although my stock OEM unit appeared to be fine (82K miles) I decided to go ahead and swap it out since I had it. Unlike the Moog Pitman and Idler Arms, this piece still has a rubber boot on it to protect the tapered shaft. Another feature I like is that it comes with an optional remote grease fitting hose that will allow you to grease the bracket without having to remove the splash pan.

A third of the price than Oreilly. Put these on my 06 and 03 Chevy dually's. Remove and replace is pretty straight forward (and there is a youtube that helps). I chose to replace the arm and the bracket since I had to remove the bracket anyway and would recommend doing so. Also changed out the pitman while I was at it. Steers like a million dollars now.
