The garage remote opener works fine once it's programmed. The challenge is programming it since the Learn button and light aren't very responsive. Press the "Learn" button once as the manual states and the remote didn't get programmed. Press the "Learn" button too long and it erases all existing remotes programmed to the opener. Pressing the "Learn" button just so to light it up (took seven tries) and finally the remote was programmed.

Works perfect for me. I followed the instructions from the LiftMaster opener and was able to program the opener to obey this remote in less than a minute. Appears to be the exact same OEM device as the one we got with the opener. Same usable range, etc. Came with a battery. Visor clip arrived unconnected (which I liked because it allowed me to install it in my preferred orientation without having to first pull it off).

I have a liftmaster/chamberlain door lift with a red button. I ordered the 893 LM (only works with yellow learn button) vs 893 Max which can be easily programed to work with almost any lift master/chamberlain garage door lifter.

Works well with a good (but not too good) range.
