Read the instructions ahead of time and you shouldn't run into issues. Pulled the Switch 2 straight from the packaging to apply the screen protector right away and it already had dust on the screen. The dust removal kit was great, though it took a little patience to get all the dust off. That was probably the hardest part. Applying the screen protector was easy and the alignment came out perfect. There is that moment as it's applying where there's a worry about air bubbles, but mine came out fine. I don't even notice that the screen protector is there.

Spigen has always made great tempered glass protectors, and this 2-pack for the Switch 2 is no exception. Installation is simple thanks to the EZ Fit frame, and once applied, the glass looks crystal clear with no bubbles or distortion. Touch sensitivity is perfect, and it doesn’t interfere with the Joy-Cons or docking at all.I’ve used Spigen glass on multiple products over the years (phones, tablets, now the Switch 2), and they’ve always been reliable. This one feels just as durable and gives me peace of mind knowing the screen is protected from scratches or drops.If you want an easy-to-install, dependable screen protector for your Switch 2, this is the one to get.

Disappointed I wasted money on a protector that is over double the price of others on the market, but failed to deliver on either quality or ease of application, which are the only reasons to consider buying a protector at this inflated price point.I typically make a point of buying spigen because the screen protectors for phones are quality and the applicator removes a lot of fuss from placement.When I pulled out the first protector, I was concerned I saw a large speck on the glass. I assumed it was maybe on the applicator behind the glass, or on the plastic film. Once I removed the applicator, it was obvious the imperfection was in the glass landing directly in the middle of the screen.I assumed it was a manufacturing fluke and tried the second protector. The applicator snapped all the way down onto the product just fine, but when it came off, the alignment was unacceptable. It was adjusted all the way down and to the left, going nearly past the screen on some edges while leaving the other sides with a bare strip.I ended up having to lift and readjust the screen protector by hand, which defeats the point of buying spigen.

Easy to install and had a few air bubbles but I think it was from me not sliding my finger fast enough. I left the last protective film on to rub the bubbles out and drug the angled edge of the supplied scraper over the bubbles instead of pushing since it wouldn’t glide over the screen protecting film. After I got the bubbles out I peeled the film off to have a clear scratch free screen that went almost edge to edge.

It doesn’t get any easier than this. If you’ve had issues installing screen protectors in the past (fingerprints, alignment issues, etc.) then fear no more! Spigen makes it easy with a built in frame that ensures you screen protector gets place in just the right spot on your device. I’ve used their similar products for cell phones and tablets in the past and they always work great!To install the screen protector start by going to a room with a low amount of dust and now blowing air (make sure your home HVAC and fans are turned off to avoid random dust and hair floating over at the worst time). Use the included wet wipe to give your screen a thorough cleaning. You can also use any standard wet lens cleaning wipes if you need extra cleaning. I tend to wipe and wipe and wipe until I can’t see anything on the screen at all when I tilt it into the light. You want to wipe it down so there’s no marks, fingerprints, smudges, dust specs, etc. visible. All you should see is the screen acting like a mirror when held at an angle. Once you’re set you’ll just place your Switch on a flat surface, peel the back film off the screen protector, and then sit the alignment bracket around your Switch. Rub back and forth on the strip in the middle where indicated to adhere the protector to the screen. After 30 seconds or so you’ll peel the center tape away and gently separate the alignment bracket from the Switch. You then use the included squeegee to slide any air bubbles out from under the protector and off to the edge of the screen. If you did a good job cleaning the screen and didn’t have much dust floating around then you might not even have any bubbles to worry about. Finally you peel off the top protection film and you’re all set!The nice thing about this kit is that it includes an entire second setup. So if you mess up installing the first one somehow, or if you end up damaging it through normal use you’ll have a backup one ready.Once installed the protector is practically invisible on the screen. Clarity is excellent and all the touch functions work as expected. The only way you can really even tell it’s there is by looking for the edges of the protector.
