I am in the process of adding a dedicated 20amp AC line for my audio room. I don't want to pay hundreds of $ for the "name brand" audiophile outlets. These use plated pure copper contacts. The plating visually looks to be excellent. I plugged a audio power cord into the unmounted outlet and it took a lot of firce to plug in and remove. I would expect these to do the job just fine. They claim to handle up to 6 Ga wire, I will only be using 12ga wire.

I've been looking to increase the number of receptacles and found these on Amazon. Installed them myself and they are perfect. The only issue is the screws they send make no sense to mount these to the junction box so I had to buy new ones.

A well made outlet, it has all the same material components of ones purchased from audio supply houses for $200.00.

I bought this product to replace my main power outlet feeding my line conditioner in my listening room. The build quality is exceptional. The plug fit is really tight. It actually takes a little effort to plug something in. It sounds great. The only thing that is a little off is the two screw holes on the side of the plate. However, the plate is optional. You can simply install the plugs into a standard wall plate. I seriously doubt anything more expensive is going to give you anything that would be noticeable over this product.

I bought four Viborg receptacles. 2-gold and 2-rhodium plated. After burning them in for 2 months ( behind the fridge,fan/heater combination) I can say that they emphasize midrange and restrict upper and lower registers. Rhodium is a bit more open than gold but not by much. I had 1 of each installed behind my system and lived with them for 2 full months listening to music every day for at least 6 hours. I was never comfortable with the sound. Things I knew were there in the music were either softened or hidden in the mix. I then installed a $20 Levitton hospital grade/ isolated ground outlet just for fun and it was a revelation. The music gained unrestricted dynamics again throughout full musical spectrum. I gave the outlets an extra star for their bling and build quality. Will use them somewhere else in the apt for non audio purpose.

EXCELLENT

I recently plugged my toaster into this receptacle, all I can say is WOW! I have never had better toast in my life. It makes me want to try the blender with it!
