KAISH Chrome Metal Curved Bottom Jack Plate Curved Base Square Jackplate for Les Paul LP Guitars

This is a strong thick plate. I have started using this for all of my guitar builds that mount on the bottom rounded body.

Had to bend it, should have gotten the curved one for les Paul shape , use 2 crescent wrenches

I'm always a bit skeptical of inexpensive parts but I have to say that I'm impressed with this jack plate. The holes lined up perfectly on my guitar and I'm quite happy with it.

Was very good quality but I had to return it because it would not fit on my LP style guitar.

All electric guitars, especially ones you gig with, that use a Switchcraft #11 1/4" jack or similar jack, should also be fitted with a metal jackplate, never plastic. This is because a metal plate not only protects the thin wood where the jack goes through the guitar, like on an SG Standard, but if you or someone else were to accidentally trip on your guitar cord, the jack could easily break a plastic jackplate leaving you with broken wires to your jack. You'd be dead in the water with no sound. Metal jackplates make good common sense as they are MUCH more durable and look better than plastic.These particular plates are slightly curved so they fit the side of a Gibson or Epi Les Paul perfectly. Try fitting a flat metal jackplate to a LP and you'll be bummed out you didn't get the curved one. Putting a curve into a flat plate by banging it with a hammer almost NEVER comes out well.

Didn't fit my 2005 LP Custom, wasn't even close. It is too big, so you could drill new holes, but I'm not drilling new holes in an LP over a $7 part. Waste of gas driving this back to UPS.

Fits my 2015 Gibson Les Paul Traditional perfectly. I never gave the plastic jack plate that it came with any thought until it cracked. Ordered this one on a Wednesday and it arrived that Saturday, just in time for my next gig. Saved the day!

Had to flatten out the curvature about 1/8 of an inch to make it fit snugly against my guitar body. I don’t have a tool for it, so I stood on it, few seconds at a time and after a few times, got the curvature I needed.

Good quality at a low price compared to the $20 for the original Gibson. The only problem I found with this product is the curve of the plate was too pronounced and did not match the curve of my Gibson Les Paul body. With a few hammer tap on the jack plate, the curve became perfect. I also reused the original Gibson screws. I did not want to take a chance with the Chinese screws in case that the screw treads did not match to original.

I had an old Silvertone acoustic whose end block was too thick to put a jack pin in, so I drilled a hole in the side and used this to add some rigidity in case it got knocked and split the wood. Worked great, highly recommended.

I knew as soon as I took it out of the package that the curve was too pronounced. You can see from the photo that there's quite a bit of space between the middle of the jack plate and the side wall of the guitar. I'll have to try to hammer it into a flatter radius. This is on my Gibson Les Paul Traditional.

Die Entgratung war an einem von vier Platten nicht so sauber.Kratzerfreie perfekte Oberfläche.Selbst für den eigentlichen Zweck, an einem geraden Teil der Gitty/Uke als Jackout gut zu verwenden.Für meine "Use" als Befestigungplatte für einen 42mm breiten Mandolinen Hals ist der Bohrabstand der Schrauben perfekt.Die Schrauben habe ich durch etwas längere ersätzt.
