A beautifully written story about best friends who love each other but owing to misunderstandings spend years denying their feelings. Jason has been in love with his straight best friend Gael forever and has to stand by and pretend to be happy as he gets engaged and the wedding nears.Gael has been keeping a secret of his own, he has always loved Jason. Ten years ago he kissed him but after being rejected has tried to move on with his life.Jason arranges a surprise bachelor party for Gael and whisks him and his two brothers in law off to Vegas, it’s his way of having a few last days with Gael before putting his feelings to one side forever but things never turn out quite the way you expect.This book was both heartbreaking and uplifting with a twist I didn’t see coming and the author poured all Jason’s pain and Gael’s anger and frustration out onto the pages beautifully.I loved the surprise guests at the bachelor party and also the bonus chapter giving us a lovely HEA. I’m hoping that Frankie is next in line for the HEA he is so desperate for.

Ache by Marley Valentine is just what I needed to make my heart and soul ache.⠀Gael and Jordan are one of my favourite pairs, they both have such big hearts and take on the caretaker roles within the family. Having been best friends longer than they haven’t, they really know everything about each other but seem blinded about how the other truly feels.⠀So when Jordan takes Gael on an all expenses paid stag do in Vegas, emotions run high and the step from best friends to lovers seems more plausible than ever.⠀The events during this book are full of longing and sadness, but intense love that these characters have for each other gives me life and I honestly enjoyed every moment of it.

With a striking cover, this book was as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.The perfect title, Jordan and Gael made my heart ache, but they also made my heart sing. With emotion in spades and chemistry that set their love on fire, the journey these two men endured was not easy, but with a soul deep connection and friendship since childhood, they should always have been meant to be, if only they could admit to themselves what others could already see.Wonderfully written with depth and a host of wonderful characters, I loved this book. It made me feel, like the best stories always do. It made me cry, it made me smile and left my little heart very happy.

Wow! There is no better title for this book other than ACHE because my heart literally felt that in every way for Jordan and Gael. The emotional rollercoaster behind this story and these characters are off the scale and Marley's words are just breathtakingly beautiful. I devoured this book in a day and even now, my heart still hasn't recovered.

MM contemporary friends to lovers romance, an easy to read page-turner full of emotion and passion. Jordan knew things were going to be forever changed between himself and Gael and not the way he'd wished it could always be and he was distraught about it all...but at least they would have the trip to Vegas first. HEA

Who doesn't love a story of two best friends that have loved each other from the beginning but dont think the other feels the same way. I really enjoyed this book and all the feels it brings out when your reading it 😊

Another incredible book from this author! Marley writes the best emotional love stories that touch on sensitive topics - I already can’t wait to see what she writes next.

Ache was a really beautiful book. I enjoyed reading Gael and Jordans story, and I loved the connection between them. This was a very enjoyable, emotional read. I loved it!
