Herbal Clear Mountain Air Fresh Deodorant Stick, Swiss Alps Lichen, 1.8 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I had run out of my usual deodorant and my wife bought this at Whole Foods. I tend to be very picky about deodorant as I find that it either gets on my clothing, leaves me with a rash, or doesn't work (or worse) does all three. I was extra dubious of this product because it was extra expensive (clearly due to the retail location--don't get me started) and I suspected that I was going to get a gimmick product that was "all natural" and didn't work at double cost and that I might be allergic to it. To my surprise, I loved it for several reasons: A) It works. I live in Hawaii and here in the tropics my pits do get STANKY within an hour or so of showering without deodorant. B) Hardly any scent (I'm not big on scent to begin with) and what scent there is, is pleasant--but relatively unnoticeable. C) It does go on very dry (why that is a bad thing--as the other reviewer noted--is beyond me, I view it as a positive. D) It lasts a LONG time, both in terms of being on your body in one application but, most notably, in how many applications you get out of one normal sized stick. I'd say at least double of what I got out of my former deodorant.

This is the best natural deodorant on the market. I have been using it for several years. It's effective, it's smooth, it doesn't irritate the skin, and the scent is not unpleasant. What more could you ask for? I have tried hard to find anything else this good and the competition is not even close.

I lkie this deoderant. I was buying it at Walmart but they stopped selling it & I was unable to find it anywhere & was glad to be able to order it online. It works great for me. I do not use antiperspirants. I would buy again and recommend it.

The product works very well, but it gets used up quickly. We need to replace it much sooner than we would other deodorants. That means it costs more. We miss the old formula.

I have to have an aluminum, dye free deodorant due to I break out in a rash with anti-perspirant products. I have used Herbal Clear Deodorant for years. It used to come in a yellow container with 2.65 Oz. The current product is only 1.8 Oz, almost 1 Oz less product, in the same size dispenser. The previous formulation was also more dense; the current formulation is much softer thus wears away much faster. The bottom line is that the previous Herbal Clear, in the yellow container, lasted considerably longer than the current product. I go through these much faster now and paying more for it. I doubt that I am the only consumer who has noticed this.

Me and my boyfriend have been using this daily for years. My boyfriend is really sweaty and works well for him. Will continue to buy.

Thankful that I don’t get rashes from this brand!

This product does not contain benzoic acid or sodium benzoate, both of which cause me extreme difficulties in the way of eye irritation so profound that I cannot function. Weird, I know, but consider that the underarm is a very efficient portal to the body and absorbs quickly. For me this is the best and safest commercial deodorant.
