So much fun
The media could not be loaded. I have to say this is loads of fun.My grandson who is literally just two has enjoyed playing with this set.He is quite mature however he is well supervised due to a few small parts. He doesn’t quite get all the actions right yet but he’s happy in his own little way.He understands some parts are delicate, including road sections and the helicopter for example.Assembled in minutes with the obligatory sticker sticking session its great to find a toy that doesn’t require batteries and works on leavers and the rolling motion of the cars. The cars are a hard plastic with a metal roller that helps guide them around the track and an in built magnet on the roofs that is picked up by another in the base of the helicopter.By using the right lever, the cars are raced, raised, rotated and plunged into the air onto the receiving helicopter magnet which in turn rotates and places the vehicle back on the track via a barrier.

Endless fun but it's not for babies!
The media could not be loaded. This car track is gravity fed with 6 activities to keep the vehicles going on the endless circuit. The whole thing is manual and operated by pressing, pumping, twisting the buttons (no batteries are required and is fully functional in a power cut ;-). The 5 small vehicles can be placed at various areas on the track and the challenge could be to keep them going without catching up with each other (I failed and ended up with a traffic jam). It is good fun and works well. It is plastic with a cardboard base (the construction instructions are written on the base - I didn't find them until after I'd constructed it). It is simple to construct by clicking parts into place. It doesn't fully deconstruct so it won't be returned to it's box. There are stickers to be applied if you want to.I'll be removing a star for the picture of a baby next to this toy on the product page. This is not a toy for a baby! This is a toy for age 5-7 years. The picture's fake, either that or the baby's tiny as the main toy is approx a foot squared and it appears much bigger in that picture. The vehicles are about an inch in length. They are screwed together with small train like wheels. The toy contains magnets which are secure. It costs £26.99 which I feel is ok for the hours of un-powered and reasonably quiet entertainment. My set contained an extra vehicle. It works really well and generally you can successfully navigate your vehicle around the track, up the ramp, on to the helicopter, over the bridge, on to the crane, on the train lift, around the twisty road and repeat...

A great toy for toddlers but...
It's easy to put the additional pieces into their places and is quick to do so as it's obvious where they go without looking at the instructions. It's a great toy but has it's little niggly issues such as the cars don't always run down the track smoothly and get caught ocassionally so they need a little nudge. Sometimes they do free themselves and continue on their way when buttons are pressed, dials are turned or levers are pulled. However, toddlers won't mind the odd little inconvenience to their play so it's not a big deal.Althopugh all plastic, with a few small magnets, this product is strong and is of good quality. There are plenty of things for the toddlers to be doing to keep them occupied and learning whilst havingt fun.It does say that this product is for 3+ year olds and I would agree as under three year old (the terrible twos) will result in broken bits, cars down the back of the sofa, thrown behind units etc. etc.Although toddlers may struggle with playing with this toy initially they will soon pick it all up with the help of a parent. Once they learn which button to press, which lever to pull and which way to turn the dial they will soon be engrossed in this. This is a toy that can be played by oneself or with others so it's a good one to have around with it being a good idea to keep the box as this toy easily packs away neatly back into the packaging so all the bits and pieces can always be kept together.I am recommending this product as it is good quality and it does aid learning to develop skills whilst having fun so it does deliver good value.

Not a good quality toy
The birthday present prepared for the child, the child likes it very much, but the quality is average, there is no obvious barb but it is not smooth enough, some knobs will be rowed, the entrance of the exit is easy to get stuck, the bridge can not be completely put down, and the car often gets stuck. The airplane magnet part also takes practice to hold. The design is a bit odd, the planes and tracks look like they were designed for Thomas and his buddies, but the accompanying car is a random everyday vehicle.

A cleverly laid out car track that's great fun to play with
This car track toy is great fun! It comes with the smaller pieces and parts of the track needing to be attached to the base, but that’s easy enough if you look at the picture on the box to see where things go. Once it’s all put together, it’s a matter of pressing buttons, pulling or pushing levers, twisting knobs, etc, to work out how to get your car around the obstacle track, over the bridge, up the hill, onto the helicopter, and so on. There are small pieces so this set is only for children in the recommended age range of 4 to 8. It’s great for hand/eye coordination, cognitive skills, motor skills, and dexterity. The obstacles are colour coded to the buttons/levers that need to be used to operate them. A child will quickly learn how to operate the track, and then they can play games with their family and friends to see who can complete the track the fastest. This track comes with five mini cars, doesn’t require any batteries, and is made of environmentally-friendly non-toxic ABS materials and has no sharp edges. It’s really enjoyable to play and would also make a great gift.
