Works well for lighting candles, and battery life so far seems to be very good. I'm still working off the initial charge and have 3 out of 4 led indicator lights on. If you're wanting to light other things such as cigarettes it is *possible* to do so with this device, but it's a little more challenging than using to light a candle.

I really loved it, until I found out it doesn't charge. I plugged it into several power sources via the USB cable and not once did any light come on indicating charging. I assumed it was charging anyway - but when I came back I found out it the battery was still completely drained. Buyer beware - there a few other reviews mentioning the same thing. It's not past the return date so I'll need to toss it.

I highly recommend this pair for candle lovers. My candles burn cleaner, even, and longer. I purchased Bath and Body Works candles frequently. These are must haves, and would make excellent gifts.

I originally ordered this as a gift for my sister who hates using regular lighters but loves candles. I showed my mom and she loved it, so I gifted her the one I purchased for myself. Fast forward to my friend seeing me use it to light something, was surprised by how easy and convenient it is, so of course I ordered 2 more, one for me and one for her.

I wasn’t sure what to make of this lighter at first. Like add bother reviewer I had to ask my husband how to operate it (I can’t claim that I didn’t have enough sleep) 🥺. This is a neat, slender lighter that I will enjoy using.
