My pup ate me remote so I got this replacement. Put batteries in it and it worked great. I like that there was no programming, it worked right away. Keeping it away from the dog!

Very Frustrating.
Worked well for about 2 months and then just intermittently does not work at all. I have to push a button up to 25 times to get it to function. Tried replacing batteries, tried taking batteries out and putting back in, tried getting close to the tv and or moving around the room to get optimal angle to the infrared sensor on the tv and no difference. Per the description and product photos it says it takes 2 AA batteries but the one ingot takes AAA batteries, for whatever that feedback is worth. Makes me think this may be a different model.than the one advertised. It's basically a paper weight now and only 5 months old. My original remote still work but the fonts have worn off the buttons which is why I bought this replacement. Back to the factory remote for now....oh well. Pretty frustrating.
