Yes. I7 12700 cpu needs an LGA 1700 motherboard socket. LGA 1700 motherboards support DDR5.

Is this compatible with and Ryzen 5 7600X

Technically yes, but it seems to be complete pot-luck as to whether it will actually work or not. I bought this set, to use on an MSI motherboard with a 7600X, it wouldn't let me enable EXPO (AMD's XMP equivalent) and I got random DRAM debug led on the mobo, preventing boot. I sent the ram back and swapped it for the EXPO version (Z36 at end of part number instead of C36), and had exactly the same problem. So again, sent it back, and tried G.Skill Ram instead, this time on another mobo & CPU and yet again, same problem. I wish you better luck than I've had!

Plug and play

As with all the other Corsair Vengeance I have had in the past, this is great memory, runs at advertised speeds with setting the XMP on a Z790 Tomahawk. Running stock 5600 and it does everything I need, from Gaming to photo editing. I would never buy any other brand of memory.

Sleek Design

The sleek black design looks smart on my black MSI motherboard. Easy to install (fits under the massive CPU heatsink/fan without any problems) & works at the speed advertised (I'm actually overclocking it slightly in the BIOS). I've been using this since January & haven't had any issues.
