I'm wondering if there are different oreganos for different ethnicities cooking. I use it in Mexican dishes but the flavor profile is noticeably a bit different than any oregano powder I've ever gotten in the mexican spices section at grocery stores. It doesn't seem spoiled or aged or anything like that. Just not ideal for authentic mexican tasting food.
