Very good well balanced clear pickups - especially for the cost - they are hotter than listed
They sound very nice. The neck pickup is definitely hotter than described at 8.8k and the bridge is a little hotter at 8.9k. So I didn't use either as a neck pickup because I like my necks under 8k. But as bridge pickups they sound quite good and could pass for much higher cost pickups.

Mine was at a higher output.
The guitar in this pic is what i have in a Davison brand LP. And it had some crapy humbers in it, i tested these and 1 is at 9 ohms and the other is at 13 ohms. Well wrapped in plastic and indv. baggies, no dings, scratches etc.. I paid $50 for the guitar and another $100 in new parts, gave a 4-star because i haven't installed yet, but to me these pickups no matter where you get them from all sound the same at this price range. 9 out of 10 will be fine and if not Return them. But as i mentioned, test them right off, out of the bag/box then if they don't test , don't bother with them = return.

Good Sound, Good Tone
Replaced the stock humbuckers on my PRS with these and they sound great. Lots of treble and a chunkier low end. Great value for price.

Best bang for your buck
Installed in a pre-lawsuit Hondo 2 Les Paul custom. The gold finish looks flawless to me and covers were properly soldered onto the pickup. Wired them up 50's style with braided cloth cable and orange drop capacitors. They are completely silent and they sound pretty good, too. Plays well with all my dirt pedals. I recommend these to anyone who wants to build a low-cost humbucker axe.
