Q: How well are they good in the rain?

The material is mesh and isn't rainproof. However, it certainly doesn't deteriorate in the rain.

Q: Wondering if your smal/medium would fit a 5 year old? These came up on a search for Lego Emmett costume and so I was wondering if they would fit kid

I ordered them for that exact reason. These would NOT fit a 5 year old, they are labeled for "adult small-medium".

Q: I have waist size 36 and 5'8" tall. What size do i order. Main pupose of use is for walking dog on rainy and night time. And also to wear over trouser

I am 42 5'10" and ordered the large Xtra large and they fit well. A friend at work used them he is a bit shorter and a lot thinner a 33 waist and they still fit him well. The draw string takes up the slack. They fit over your clothes so you want them a bit baggy.
