What a handy book/CD package! A real favourite with jazz fans and players for decades, with very good reason. Great fun to play along with at any level. You won't be disappointed.

I used this book when I learnt the sax 20 years ago. I re-ordered as the original was a cassette tape to play along with. It hasn't lost any of its freshness and is great for improvisation. The great numbers such as Watermelon Man are included. Alto, tenor and C instruments all catered for, so good value as you do not need to buy separate scores/books. The notes are most instuctive. Improvement? The publisher could put on the front cover the standard/difficulty e.g easy, intermediate or advanced as it would help a buyer to sift through the publications.

Good value for money and recommended by the music teacher. It offers a fresh approach to playing and I am enjoying using it.

Very useful and interesting

This is the second copy that I have purchased as my original was falling apart. The book is great and a good learning tool.
