Q: Mine didn't come with the manual how do you attach the blade? I can't figure out how to get the handle device off to attach the blade

just turn the dial at the end of the handle counter clockwise

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by Straight cutting. Regardless, I wouldn't use it for cutting two by fours. A standard Crosscut hand saw with larger more aggressive teeth is more suitable. If you tried to cut through a lot of dimensional softwood with the saw you're looking at you would quickly wear yourself out. A pull saw is made for lighter more delicate work and is particularly suited to flush cutting things where a larger saw would be more cumbersome.
