A big help
Overall quite comfortable, a bit snug under the arms but I guess that makes them so effective. I like the material and length, too. These are a big upgrade from a previous brand I used that were super bulky under the pits.

No longer self-conscious about sweat stains.
I discovered the Thompson Tee through a hyperhidrosis support group. I didn't have very high expectations of the product but figured I would give it a try since I was sitting in wet shirts for the last 15 years of my life and feeling self-conscious about it. This product works very well. It effectively blocks most sweat rings and only shows minor stains around 12pm, which dries rapidly (by 3pm). I'm no longer sitting in a wet shirt and freezing and I do not feel like I have a wet shirt when it is on. The shields within the shirt are very effective at trapping the moisture and it is very comfortable to wear. I have started wearing a lot more of my brightly colored shirts. One thing to note: the bottom hem is unraveling and threads are hanging everywhere after only wearing it for only two weeks. I washed it about 4 times since that time. It is more annoying than anything and I usually tuck the shirt into my pants so it isn't unsightly. It works very well for what it is supposed to do but does not block sweat entirely. The sweat that does come through is hardly noticeable. The shields also takes awhile to dry out after washing or sweating on them. Not a big deal but if you have humidity in the house the shirt may still be wet from the day before and require a dry in the dryer. I love it and will be buying a few more to add to my rotation. It is see-through so don't expect to wear it by itself like the model in the photo.

sweat like a normal person!
I've purchased several thompson tees, in the original and slim fits. While, yes, it may not block 100% for all people, it does a great job. I am a heavy sweater and I wore it under a blouse, at a high pressure work event while I was on my feet moving around for 2 hours. I had a very small amount of sweat showing at the end of the event -- perhaps a quarter sized. Who wouldn't?! If you are a person who sweats a lot, and it influences your wardrobe choices and activities, yes, these will definitely help you.I included photos of the original and slim fits. Slim fits are a couple inches longer, plus stretch better so will give you even more coverage at the belt line. They also feel a little lighter. As to "noise:" I don't agree that the padding is loud. Different fabric sounds different, it didn't bother me.I agree with other reviewers that despite the thick padding, they actually wick moisture away from you very well, so I felt better than I do when I wear a typical tee as an undershirt (which stays wet the whole time).

My expectations may have been a little high, but a good product.
As someone who deals with excessive sweating I was really excited to try this product. Of course I was skeptical as I feel like I've tried just about everything aside from surgery and been thoroughly disappointed, but based on the "guaranteed to block 100% of sweat" I decided to give it a try.I am a motivational speaker and so I'm not kidding when I say I've been looking for something that works for a long time. My best option has been disposable nursing pads attached to my undershirt with electrical tape. Very uncomfortable and annoying but it works. Compared to that this shirt was comfortable.Unfortunately within a short time the upper part of the underarm was wet and I absolutely HATED the scoop neck, it was so wide that it didn't lay right around my shoulders and I ended up using safety pins to hold it in place. Its possible a smaller size would not have been so wide but the fit overall was really good so it's hard to say.Disappointed? A bit. I think the advertising is a little misleading but it does seem the idea could possibly work better with a thicker longer pad with a slightly longer sleeve and a little less scoop on the neck for a more natural fit. I think I might try a men's and see if the longer sleeve and tighter neck yields better results.Recommend it? Sure. Just don't expect 100% sweat block. Maybe closer to 75%. In the meantime I would use this for everyday needs but sadly I'll probably have to stick to nursing pads for the big to-do's:).

Game changer!
For anyone who has an issue with excessive sweating, please purchase these shirts. They are a game changer. The more you think about how much youre going to sweat, the more youre going to sweat. (For me atleast). Embarrassed for 20 years with this issue. But for the last 2 years, ive worn these undershirts and it puts your mind at ease and youll stop thinking about sweating and the Embarrassment.. since its no longer on my mind, i can go days without wearing these shirts and have no issues or very little issues, NOTHING compared to before. I was able to reprogram my mind over the last 2 years to not think about sweating or stress about it. Its amazing that i can go to the store with the confidence that i wont have huge pit stains within a few minutes. I love them.

Unfortunately it does not work....
I wanted to like this shirt but unfortunately it has some design flaws.Pros - the fit is nice, very flattering, and the material is soft.Cons - the material under the arm pit feels like an old school cloth diaper. This could be fine, but it absolutely would not dry no matter how many times I put it through the dryer. (No, my dryer is fine...it drys all my other clothes without a problem) Because the sweat pad would never dry fully the next time I wore it and started to sweat it immediately started to stink with wretched B.O. which defeats the point of me wearing it. The material also started to pill after only a couple wears. I'm sorry, I can't recommend and I'm past the point of returning them.

Works, but it’s ITCHY
I don’t know about everyone else, but by the end of the day, I wanted to rip this off of my body. The fabric is super itchy—ESPECIALLY the armpit area. I mean yeah, it caught all the sweat and kept the outer clothing dry, but at the expense of an all day itch? Naaaaaah.
