I love my 60lb Goldendoodle and she loves bully bones
Yeah! Maggie absolutely loves these! I love my 60lb Goldendoodle and she loves bully bones. But the in-store $11 cost for one 6" braided (okay, I live in Manhattan, but even the suburban Petsmart charges $22 for a package of two 12" bones) made them a too infrequent treat. These are less than $3/bone with the 25-pack! I've purchased bully bones on Amazon before with inconsistent luck - there was one particularly upsetting purchase that left me with 25 bones that she didn't touch (I gave them to a friend who didn't have a much different outcome)! But she loves these! The bones are very substantial and so they keep her busy for quite some time. She digs right in and doesn't stop for distractions - she carries it with her to the door to say hi to any visitors and walks around with it in her mouth until its time to lay down and start chewing again. Occasionally, she doesn't finish the whole bone in one sitting, but she's back at it again before too long. It's a rare occasion to see any leftover. And I know I don't need to clean up because she'll take care of that for me. And did I mention that my dog does not get particularly excited about food? She sniffs, thinks about it and then, fairly timidly, takes it if she's interested and in the mood. We're even talking leftover filet mignon or lamb chops!

Good Quality
The pups really like these bully sticks. The odor is not too pungent and they do not stain. the 25 count quantity is a very good deal when in stock. If you have a strong or aggressive chewer do not expect these treats to last a long time. We have an American Staffordshire Terrier and a Boxer mix and they can easily finnish off one braided stick in 5 mins. or less. If you are anticipating something to keep them occupied for any length of time try soup bones or something natural like that.

Why the huge price increase
They were enjoyed by both of our dogs but recently the price went from 75.00 for a pack of 25 to 189.00 for the same size and quantity. I would like to know why but can’t find out so will have to look for another alternative

and he is very happy chewing them
My dog loves these. He will do anything I ask just to get them. I have a 3 year old pit-mix, about 50 pounds. I bought him the 25 pack of the 6-inch braided bullies. He will go through one in about 15 minutes. Once he starts chewing, they fall apart, and he chews them separately. It does keep him entertained, and he is very happy chewing them, but they do not seem to last as long as I was hoping. I can keep him busy longer with a rawhide, at a cheaper price. He gives his approval, but at the price it is not something that was beneficial for us. Virtually no odor

My puppy loves these... Too much...
When my puppy had puppy teeth, it would take her a week to go through one of these sticks. They were great for keeping her entertained and she never chewed on anything else, like furniture. It was amazing! Now, she has her adult teeth and she finishes a stick in less than a day, just a few minutes if she really tries. They're too expensive to only last such a short time, but they were great while she was young.

Not better than a piece of wood?
I recently adopted my dog, so this is only my second purchase of bully sticks, which means I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. My dog loved the first package I ordered (a different brand). These, not so much. My impression is that they were really dry and hard. My dog refused to eat them and in fact prefered chewing on a piece of wood he found. However, I did find a solution. I smeared some peanut butter on each bully sticks (like frosting a cake) and George would soften them by licking off the peanut butter (which he loves) then settle in a chew the bully sticks. I wonder if the packaging got damaged and allowed the sticks to dry out, but I don't think I should have to frost bully sticks to get my dog to chew on them. I also tried putting some of them in a sealed container with some moist snacks, but that didn't help at all.

It's not like the feel of weight nor does it looks like ...
My buddy loves this treat, but I am noticing that the product is getting thinner! It's not like the feel of weight nor does it looks like when I first purchased it. If you look through my purchased history...it's been years that I have purchased this product. :( I don't feel like I'm getting my monies worth.

Doggies love them
With 2 dogs (Havanese) I have tried many bully sticks and this product keeps them busy. They even hide them from each other. Recently some friends visited, with their Yorkie...he loved it too, and he is one finicky doggie! There is no harsh smell. I highly recommend.
