I bought the Heybee collapsible Trekking Poles after going on several hikes with a lot of climbing and trying out a tree branch as a walking stick and realizing what a huge difference it makes to have a walking stick. It takes a lot of pressure off of your knees and makes it more of a distributed workout to use your hands and arms as well as your legs climbing. I picked these collapsible poles because they are very light and collapses down to 26 inches so they can pack in my suitcase. In addition to being telescoping to adjust to your height, they have an anti-shock mode to help absorb the shock, which is really helpful when descending. The grips are soft and very comfortable. They came with a nice travel bag and additional tips. I really like having the travel bag that came with these because it lets you keep everything in one bag that can be thrown in your suitcase and it has a shoulder strap that lets you carry it on your shoulder until you are ready to use the poles. Overall, these poles were exactly what I was looking for and I am really looking forward to trying them out on my trip to Banff National Park next month.

I used these on a 40 mile trek on the Appalachian Trail. They worked really good. My only complaint is the hand grips. The little cuts on the back side of the grips (which I assume are for air flow) rubbed my hands at times and was a little uncomfortable.

Not sure why this prime item was shipped directly from China so it took over two weeks to get to me. Maybe because it was newly listed item. Anyway well worth the wait.The aluminum body is very strong and love how easily you can adjust the length of the pole with a simple counter clockwise twist and pull to how long you want it and clockwise lock system. Comes with different accessories for different terrains also very easily changed from one to the other.The cork like material for the handle is very nice to grip with wrist strap that keep it secure from losing your pole if you slip or fall.Now my son doesn't need to always look for sticks when we go hiking anymore.

These trekking poles are just fine, and very light (8.7 ounces each), but they have no anti-shock mechanism that I can find, so the vendor did false advertising. I might not have bought them if I had known they did not have anti-shock, but nevertheless I'm pretty happy with them.

I wish they weren't green. Any other color would have been better, but except for the color they are perfect.

Measurents on center section but not on the bottom. Makes it harder to get them even. Straps don't stay tight - have to readjust while hiking. No other complaints. Locking mechanism good. Light weight. Nice grips. I've used them several times.

I bought these because we were going on a vacation to Great Smoky Mountains and planned to hike a lot. Well we ended up hiking a lot and these were Great. We used them everyday and once we got home se continued to use them when we go hiking. They just worked great
