THERE IS A FIX!!! For these ***poorly designed*** great CRI lights that make them 5 STARS
So dumb of a design that it doesn't matter how good the lighting is. Every time you turn these off, and back on, they change settings. So you can't get consistent lighting with a normal light timer, which for me makes them ridiculous and useless! Edit (hold on, there is a fix)The other downside is the voltage transformer is built into the control switch. So WHEN the transformer goes bad (and they all do in time) you can't just replace and or upgrade the transformer. Also the controller/transformer gets hotter than most, and in my experience with hundreds of LED lights it makes me question it's durability and it's ability to last. but the price is so good...The ProsThe Color rendition is great! Better than a lot of very expensive lights. 2 out of the 3 setting are VERY VERY GOOD. The best of any budget Aquarium LED I've ever seen. (personally I think the green LED's don't help much and they seem to wash out some of the more eye pleasing colors. I will block the greens in some tanks with some electrical tape on the outer lens cover)Lighting intensity is also very good. I'm sure like most cheap LED's these will dim some with time because the fixture gets hot and heat tends to be hard on LED's. These find of things to be expected with cheaper lighting so not a big deal. Conclusion If they remembered the last setting I would have giving them 5 stars for the price. Edit; I change the rating to 5 stars because the fix.THE FIX!For not remembering sittings.Get a advance digital timer. (I use the BN-LINK 7 Day Heavy Duty Digital Programmable Timer)Sync the light setting. It will requires some math. The right timer can be programed to cycle on your lights 3 times within three minutes. So that way, you get the same lighting every day. You can also cycle for desired different lighting throughout the day.So with the right timer it makes it a 5 STAR low price lighting system.

Great value, even better customer service replacing malfunctioning light
I bought 2 of these 36 inch lights to go over my 6 foot, 125 gallon aquarium. They are a great value. They are bright. Unfortunately, just outside the return window, 1 works well still and the other light started flickering, but settling to be on for a few weeks. Now it does not work in the full spectrum settings, only the white light setting. I have been using these since mid January, 2022. The one light started being faulty in April 2022. They also seem to be fussy about which of the 3 settings they are on. I can't really find a consistent pattern to get them to cycle through the settings, even on the light that does work. *EDIT AQQA replaced my intermittent light with no questions asked. Very prompt and courteous service.

Great Aquarium Light for 10-20 Gallon Tank
I'm extremely happy with this product. I'm using it with a 20 gallon breeder tank. It's adequately bright and the function button is easy to use. The black casing matches my tank trim and looks great. My plants have been growing well since I added the light. The price on this was great too.

Good cheap light, but not very comparable with timers
The light is nice, works as advertised and is plenty bright. My plants agree this is a nice light too, provides enough light for ample growth. Not the greatest light you’ll ever get, but for this price, that’s not a complaint. My big issue is it’s (somewhat) incompatibility with timers. Once this light loses power (not turned off, but when the electricity is cut off by the timer) it will not retain it’s settings and will default to the full spectrum half light. Not an issue if that’s preferred, but if you prefer white light only or all lights on and use a timer, you will have to manually change it every time it comes back on. Not a huge issue for me, my fish and plants don’t seem to mind, but the full spectrum coloring looks a bit odd so it can be annoying at times. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Great, inexpensive light with color that will make your aquarium contents look good aquarium
I bought the smallest AQQA light a few months ago, to replace an older light on top of a 10 gallon aquarium with a few simple plants and a few white cloud mountain minnows. The light is robust and well made; and has 3 different light modes for different amounts of light or different spectrums. It's simple to operate and works well with a normal timer. I have had a couple of splashes without a problem.. I haven't dropped it into the tank to say how it would perform but I expect it to be similar to most lights and letting it dry completely would have it back in use in no time at allFor less than $13 I wasn't expecting much, but I am impressed. There isn't as much light as there would be on a fixture costing 10, 20 or more times the price but there's more than enough for my needs, and the spectrum of the light output makes the plants and fish look good which is what I wanted.Plants grow, everything looks fine, I could not want more. If I need to replace more lights in the future, these will be my first stop.(If pictures attach, I apologize for the quality, they are just simple cellphone pics)

Good for a month.
This light worked great for about a month, then all the color modes other than the regular white light stopped working. That was fine for me since I only used the white light anyway, but it was a little disappointing.Fast forward 9 months later, the light stopped working all together. Now, LEDs should last years so I figured something happened to the cord or the switch got fried, so I took the cord and switch apart and tested the components with a multi meter, everything worked which meant the issue was in the light itself. When I tried to take apart the light itself (I did like this light while it worked, so I wasn't ready to give up on it yet), I discovered all of the screws holding the fixture itself together came pre-stripped, so there was no easy way to get it open to examine the diodes themselves. As I mentioned above, LEDs should last years. The fact that this light only made it a few months indicates either a) low-grade materials, b) really poor workmanship, or c) both (most likely from what I saw).I will not be buying this light again and I would not recommend it to anyone.
