Love the paint tunes. Kids were able to mix and use easily and with less mess.
Was a birthday present for a 4 year old. It was easy and a lot less mess to clean up after painting.

Excellent Sensory Learning, Attention Span Building, Creativity & FUN! Ideal 14-36+Months. BUT...
Crayola; My First Crayola; Fingerpaint Kit; Art Tools; 3 Tubes of Paint; 10 Sheets of Paper; WashableBut definitely use finger painting/watercolor specific papers to experience the full potential and benefit of finger painting. Note there's a minus (for some) to this as well which I will write below. Firstly, it gets messy so you want paper that doesn't bleed or soak through. Secondly, the non-absorbent, heavy duty, glossy texture allows for your little ones to experience mixing colors by gliding, smoothing, splatting, etc...The paint itself is water based and is extremely washable. It will come right off pretty much under warm running water. So for those who write negative reviews about both this product AND the finger painting pad, citing that it gets soggy and it doesn't dry quickly - well the point of finger painting at this age is to let them have fun. Art is a crucial and critical component of early childhood development. YES - it WILL get soggy an messy and if it gets too soggy, the paper will eventually tear and rip and so forth. There will be globs and globs of wet splashy paint. If you really insist on keeping it, you can always use dry brushes with your child and "brush" away the globs to aid in drying as you get more creativity into it.My older one now at 3 still loves to finger paint with this product. She enjoyed it at about 14 months and she was extremely sensitive to different textures felt on her hands. My younger one is now 15 months and she hasn't shown any interest yet but kids are all different. But I do know that it is extremely important to allow kids to have fun and get messy.

Fun for the tub...
Bought for my 2 yr old granddaughter. Since she is so young (and this is messy), I use it in the bath tub. She has SO much fun! Please be aware that whatever washcloth you use, it will stain it. I just make sure to use the same one each time. This is used to wash down the tub. In our house, the painting is done after her body and hair is washed. I then pull out the stained washcloth, put globs of paint along the inner walls of the tub, and let her have fun. It comes off of her skin extremely easily. The tub needs a bit more attention. It's totally worth it for the creative fun she has and for the fact that no clothing, aside from the washcloth, is ruined in the process. The colors of the paint are vibrant and eye catching for an artist in training.
