Just get it!
There are presently quite a few of these cross-legged chairs available. There's the original "soul seat" by Ikaria who came up with this fantastic design, and of course there are the MUCH less expensive knock-offs you'll find on Amazon and everywhere else. Ahh, but then there's this Tcowoy chair! It's not exactly a knock-off, since it introduces a few new and welcome design changes to the original soul seat. I don't know who Tcowoy got to re-engineer the concept, but I think their innovations are great. The major complaint you'll often read about this chair, either of the original or the knock-offs, is the insufficient padding on the perch. Tcowoy has stuffed the darn perch with some extremely dense, highly resilient, yet quite comfortable foam. It ain't gonna deflate on you OR make you feel like you're sitting on pavement. Problem solved. Next, users have complained about the crude use of a screw (of all things) to make adjustments to the perch. You have to climb off your chair and fiddle around with a darn ring screw to select your preferred height. AND the increments are fixed, pre-set!! Tcowoy has imagined a saner solution. Why not employ ANOTHER hydraulic cylinder for the perch as well as the base? Now, you can adjust the perch to your EXACT liking and never have to abandon your soul seat for a second! For $210, this thing is an absolute steal. Just add it to your shopping cart and you'll be happy.

Great for sitting cross legged
I really like this chair and it feels more stable than I expected. My only complaint is that one of the screws to hold the bracket to the bottom of the lower seat would not go in past a few turns. I took it out and tried several times to make sure I hadn't cross threaded or anything, but it still wouldn't work. Otherwise a very nice change from my standard office chair.

Not quite right
Overall, I find this chair to be far more comfortable than a regular office chair and the premise behind it is great. My biggest qualms are with how the chair is put together. I like that both the base and seat are adjustable height, although they can be quite hard to get down, especially at first. I had to put all my weight on it and "bounce" to get either down. For reference, I'm 5'2" tall and 120lbs. The cushions have been soft enough, even after several hours of sitting. They're easy to clean and I haven't had a problem with the seams wearing out yet. I like all the different sitting positions I can do and tend to change every half hour or so. There's plenty of room for me to put my legs in different positions on the base or to twist it out of the way and have one leg on the ground and one on the base. Like others have mentioned about these chairs... there's no way they would fit comfortably under a regular height desk. I have an adjustable height desk, so that hasn't been a problem for me.Here are the things that need changing that I feel would make the chair worth the money:1) I wish the seat part could be tilted because my legs went to sleep when using it fully extended while sitting on my knees or when at the lowest level and sitting cross-legged. I ended up putting some wood shims in the back between the mounting bracket and seat to make it tilt forward and that's helped a lot.2) The pole that connect the base to the legs doesn't fit in snuggly, so it's always been slightly wobbly. It's not enough to buck me off the seat, but sometimes I notice I can be sitting a little off kilter and have to adjust.3) Now that I've been using it, I cannot remove the seat from the base or the base from the legs because they're stuck in the mounting shafts. This is going to be a big problem when I move and can't disassemble the chair at all. I also want to use it without the seat sometimes and just have a large flat surface to sit on, but I can't get it off.

Terrible quality
I was very excited for this chair, but as soon as I opened the box I knew there were going to be quality issues. There is a shoe print on the cushion (see picture), that never should have made it out of the factory. Next the threading of one of the screws holding the main cushion is messed up so the screws cannot be screwed in (see pictures). Lastly the main height adjust does not work. So the chair is defective and unsafe and I'll have carry this heavy this to a return location.

Kneeling chair is more comfortable
It was easy to assemble but came with a missing part. That turned into a fiasco where I got mailed another one because I couldn't just get a part - and the manufacturers asked me to buy a new one and that they'd reimburse me for a portion. The chair seems to lean back when I sit on the top level (I'm about 150 lbs) - which doesn't seem a part of the design. It's quite static/hard to elevate and doesn't turn very well either, so a bit awkward. I bought this as an upgrade to my kneeling chair, and I think I may go back to that.

Base weld BROKE 7 months
I was enjoying using the chair and having all the options to sit in various positions. However, the weld on the bottom base broke today after less than 7 months of daily use. For as expensive as this chair was, this was highly disappointing. I would like a refund.

Cool design, but feels cheaply built for the price
This chair design is awesome, and truly a unique sitting experience. However, the mounting brackets are a bit under-built for the amount of weight. The base is some sort of cheap wood, and if you accidentally kneel on the outer end, it starts to rip out the screws from the mounting plate. It's just too much force for such a small mounting bracket in the middle. The bracket would have to be wider, or the lower plate would need to be built out of a stronger wood
