I really do think the Thermacell products are worth the money, I have reviewed others in the past. Check them out in my profile, especially the multi-insect refills that can be used with this product. This Patio Shield is no different. This one is fuel based, with each fuel cartridge lasting 12 hours. The magic is in the pads that slip in at the top, they last about 4 hours each. When the color of the pad changes to almost all white, you it’s time for a new one When they heat up, they release the repellent. There is no scent, which is great. It’s easy to turn on and you can check to see if it’s still burning by looking thru the small window to see the fuel burning. It’s super light weight and portable, and can be place just about anywhere.Mosquitoes love me, this is one of the few products that actually keep them away from me. If you have trouble with Noseeums, I recommend the multi-insect pack. That works with mosquitoes, noseeums and black flies.

This is one of the best products I’ve ever bought. No see ums are horrible at our boat at the dock. They will eat you alive. I bought one of these on the recommendation of a friend. Wow. Put it out and in 5 minutes they are gone. I can sit outside for hours with no bugs. It has made boasting fun again. And fo $22. I can’t say enough good about it.

Easy to use, works well. Not as attractive as some other options but works well on the go.I even use it in my stroller on walks when mosquitos are out.Useful tool.

Let me start by saying, I’ve never written a review for anything on Amazon, I know I’m that person that has to say that. But the Thermacell works so well I had to. Mosquitoes LOVE me and summer is miserable because of that. I get huge welts and then turn into bruises. Since it has arrived I have not been bitten once. Not one time over Memorial Day weekend. I am absolutely impressed! If you are on the fence, don’t be! It’s totally worth it! Take it from someone who hasn’t found one thing that work!!! Just wow!!

Bad product. I used this 1 time for about 4 hours and it worked great. But then the light turned off and it stopped working . Very disappointing because I bought the extra cartridges and refills. I know longer have the boxes, so it's a waste of money

OK, I’m from Central Florida we have mosquitoes. Our mosquitoes are not organic. They are genetically modify. But, this has been able to keep them at bay. It is portable I will keep the refills with me. My skin is in love with this portable mosquito repellent. I love the fact that we don’t have to spray on ourselves. It keeps an area mosquito my boys are fine go anywhere.

I got one use out of it before it was empty. I was so excited because it doesn't stink and isn't ugly

I never get bitten!!!!!!! Covers the inside of my garage, and a good portion in front of my garage just by putting it at the end of the table that we have at the corner of the garage door. I am a redhead pale skin blue-eyed girl. Normally I would get bit walking out into my garage the first five seconds. I’m standing out here. I don’t have that issue anymore. I wouldn’t trade this gadget for the entire world I don’t just not get bit. I don’t get bit at all!
