GREAT BOOK!!
I just got my copy of Salad Freak in the mail yesterday and WOW! First, the book is very beautiful - it could be a coffee table book! Second, the recipes really are very easy to do. I'm by no means a pro in the kitchen, but these recipes give be better insight into flavor combinations and simple kitchen tools that can really up my game. I look forward to giving most of these recipes a try! Oh. another great thing - it's broken out by season so now I also have a tool to help me look less aimless when I go to the market or my local farmers market. Great book!

Beautiful & inspiring salads
I was so excited to get this book! I've been wanting recipes like that are "light, fresh, and truly delicious." Some recipes seem a little intimidating because the pictures make them look so fancy, but most are actually very easy to throw together. The biggest takeaways so far from this book for me is dressing actually can be homemade (even pregnant with a toddler after getting home from work). However, I do wish she would say how long the dressing would last in the fridge. So far I haven't noticed many making a ton of extra, but sometimes it would be nice to make the dressing ahead when prepping for the week or if there are leftovers. I appreciate that she also includes instructions to assemble and styling tips if needed, instead of just expecting readers to be able to know how to make it look like the picture. It makes the recipes that look complicated much more approachable. With pictures that mouth-watering, it would have been super frustrating to have to guess how to make it look that way to serve to guests. The book is sectioned by season, and I'm looking forward to summer so I can make my way through the farmers market and that section of the book! One note: a few recipes are so simple it's almost hard to call them recipes (example from the cover: multiple types of mandarins and clementines + Burrata + olive oil + flaky salt = recipe), but they are often flavor combinations I would not have thought of and am looking forward to trying. Not really a con since salads are often simple, but I wanted to note it.

Fantastic Salad Book With Great Photos
I initially saw a review of this book in Time magazine, and after reading the article about the author and statements from Martha Stewart, I knew I had to have yet another cookbook in my collection. This is not your ordinary cookbook. The salads featured in the book are so unique and picturesque. It's clear to me that the author is extremely talented as well as creative when it comes to putting together a salad to please even the pickiest of eaters. This book by far is one of my favorite purchases hands down,

Love this book
I love this book. The recipes, the writing, the pictures - all good. Reason I did not give 5 stars - recipes do not include nutritional info nor serving amounts and sizes. As a single person who lives alone, this info would be helpful so I could alter the recipe to not have waste. Salads are always best fresh.

Amazing recipes!
I have several salad cookbooks but this one is by far the best and my most recent purchase. I’ve had it for two weeks and we’ve already made the following recipes which will become regulars in our rotation: Roasted salmon with pistachios and pea tendrils, Burrata with favas, peas, and preserved lemon, simple spring greens with frizzled shallots, and peas with prosciutto. All were very easy to make and incredibly delicious. Will be using this book all summer long. I hope the author writes more great cookbooks.

Inspiring
This is a beautiful recipe book with tons of great ideas. I love how passionate the author is about salad--it really comes through in the recipes and the images. I joined a CSA this year and have been craving salads all the time, but was getting bored of what I had in my wheelhouse. Salad Freak has enough variety and tips to really open up what's possible in making delicious salads. I also appreciate how it's broken up by season to ensure you use what's in-season. Highly recommend!

Good recipes, poor packaging and size
The book has some good recipes. The size is too small for a functional cookbook and Amazon’s packaging always leaves the corners of books damaged.

Delicious creative salads
We live in the South of France so we have access to fresh Mediterranean produce. This book inspired me to be creative with salads which we eat daily

Salad Freak Review.
A very pretty book, however lacking information. Any dressings or accompanying condiments would be nice if it were on the same page as recipe, instead of flipping back and forth. There is no mention of calorie count, or very important to me sugar count or even better yet nutritional information. I don’t know how you can write a cookbook without this info considering the vast amounts of different diet requirements. And substitutions if required would be great. To me just meh!
