Perfect in the kitchen
We eat a lot of cheese and went though a lot of ziplock bags. Now we put all our cheese in these. I press out as much air as I can and once sealed it seems to keep it air free. They do take up more space than a ziplock bag but these save so much waste and the thickness makes me feel like they protect the product better.

I didn't have trouble with closures
I have tried a few different types of reusable bags similar to this. I was wary about purchasing these because of the reviews about the closure and opening of them. I've had them for about a week and used them quite a bit already. I've had no issues with opening or closing the bags and neither has my husband who has rheumatoid arthritis. I'm not sure if they improved their design or if others were opening or closing incorrectly. I have to say that the one time I had difficulty closing was when the sealer bar was off track. Also, it's very difficult to close and open if you put the bars on backwards. Just use the bar so the arrow points towards the tab on the end of the bag (pictured) and you'll be fine.

Incredibly hard to open or close, that bag will most definitely outlast the clip
The bags themselves are quite nice and thick silicone, it’s a shame they didn’t go with a zip closure. The clip is incredibly hard to slide off and on. They’re pretty much child proof so there’s that. Several of my slides made sounds like it was going split down the middle, but there isn’t a visible crack (yet). I’m not convinced they’re all watertight as with a little pressure you can press the air out of a few of them - it might hold without the added pressure. Bottom line - get the ziplock version. They’re just easier to deal with.

Thick silicone
I haven't used the bags yet as the closures are very difficult to open.

Closure device doesn’t last
They are a great product, the bag is very sturdy and the size variety is perfect. The plastic closure device does not last, we’ve broken a few of them just by opening or closing the bags, without the plastic part the bags are useless. I do like these over the other kind of reusable pinch seal bags but the plastic closure device needs work.

Thick, high quality silicone
I read some of the reviews before mine arrived and I was concerned they would be difficult to open as others have stated. I am not good at all at opening things myself & my main intention with these is for snacks for outings with my kids, where you don’t have a ton of time to open and shut a bag. I have to say, I didn’t find them hard to open at all! I think it’s interesting there’s a totally separate plastic bar you slide completely on the top of the bag to close. I’ve seen many of these types of bags where the seal became damaged and I believe this will help to prevent that issue. The downside would be the potential of misplacing the bar when it is not on the bag. I think these are a great option and I recommend them. The size variety in this set is ideal for my purposes

Happy with this product
When we first got this product, my daughter tried to toss it to me across the kitchen (I DO NOT RECOMMEND!) one of those "Uh, was that smart kid?" and it broke one of the sealers. This is NOT a reflection on the company, BUT I mentioned it because it cracked and broke the sealer. This made me concerned that if a kid was taking something out of the fridge or freezer and dropped the bag that maybe the sealers would break more easily. So after using these pretty consistently for a month, we have not had ANY incidents of any others cracking and breaking. They have been dropped numerous times and have withheld 5 kids using and washing. I recommend. But I will the say the plastic sealer is harder for younger ones to seal the bags up and can be tricky at times.
