Rock Star (2009)

Imagine a musician playing in a tribute who has a chance to join the actual band! The first half of this movie which includes the musician playing his first gig with the band is priceless. After that it drags a little bit but still a fun movie. If you are a musician or have a musician in your life. Especially if they're working in a tribute act. This is the movie for you!

I suspect (as do many) that this movie was based on a particular band that was famous for Breaking The Law while performing in BDSM gear. Still a good plot with some humorous moments. Would definitely watch again!

If you're a child of the 80's or love 80's hairband rock, you're gonna LOVE this movie. ALL STAR CAST. The funny step brother version of "Almost Famous." Every 80's kid, with long hair, secret dream. Killer sound track and MOST IMPORTANTLY...........ORIGINAL MUSIC WRITTEN BY MR. RED HIMSELF, SAMMY HAGAR!!

Worth watching as it does entertain and titillate at the same time...both Walberg and Aniston give very credible performance as a tribute to the rock n roll life style and songs of the era, as it gives a nod not only to that but sex, whatever your preference , gay, straight or somewhere in between. And Beth Grant , the most recognized unknown of many movies, serves up another delightful performance. Very ''average'' plot line is lifted up by their performances...I had heard Pitt was against Aniston for taking on this roll, seemed he had wanted her home making babies! This movie would not have had the impact of a questioning ''lifestyle'' without her, as she does an excellent job of playing a long suffering girlfriend and at times a ''mommy'' as to the situation of Walbergs misgivings...at the same time the ending gives hope of a ''happily ever after'' and it shows having your cake and eating it too does not always lead to happiness. A cautionary tale for a movie i highly recommend

Apparently I have to repost because "hubba hubba" is a bad word and offensive to Amazon. If you like Wahlburg and grew up in the 80's listening to rock. This movie is for you and so under rated by critics.

I really enjoyed this movie when I first watched it several years ago. Mark Wahlberg acts as you would expect him to act if you've seen his other movies. For me that did not take away much from enjoying the movie overall. I think that it's funny how I don't really enjoy wahlbergs acting style but somehow every movie I have seen within it has been hit with me.

Si vous chercher un bon film de rock vous avez sonner a la bonne porte !!!Ce film est vraiment trop genial et vous emporte dans la peau d'une vrai rockstar,Ce film est tirer d'une histoire vrai et raconte l'histoire d'un vrai à qui un jour vas devenir une rockstar à sont tour le concepte ma vraiment plu alors j'ai voulu acheter le film et franchement je ne suis pas du tout deçu !!Je le recommande absolument ! ( un vrai bijoux dans votre collection de dvd )

je chercher a acheter ce film car je l'avais deja vue mais impossible de le trouver ailleurs que sur internet.le prix est un peu cher je trouve mais la qualite est au rdv.
