Gets the job done. I found it to be a pound off in measurement. I used a 30lb and a 35lb dumbell and for each it was reading a pound under. Used it on our last vacation and works fine to give you a ballpark. Compact to fit in my bookbag. Gave it to my parents and ordered a new one for me.
