Yes, picture come out really nice with this printer. The directions says it able to AirPrint. You can also email documents to the printer to print.

Q: Does this case have room for an extra 62 or 62XL cartridge?

The case is very conforming to the printer/charger and there really is not a lot of room to "spare" so you likely wouldn't be able to store an extra cartridge in it.
