... the people who bothered recommending a case to me recommended this one highly
Alright, I reviewed too soon. I was putting the switch on the wrong side. You are meant to put it on the side the game cases are on. That puts it in the hard case section and keeps the zipper off of it. Plus it allows for the middle section to be latched to keep it from moving. I'll leave the pictures up so you can see how not to use the case ;) (I'm a dork sometimes).Anyways... I haven't used it much but so far it looks to be a good case. The middle section keeps it tight in its spot and it has a nice hard case around the bottom side with a soft middle thing keeping it in place. Plus a really nice look to it. It has a decent amount of space on the other side for random cords if you want and a zippered pocket in the middle strap to keep small items from rattling around. I bought it because it came highly recommended from the two people who responded to me asking for a case suggestion (both suggested this one).Edit: After having this case for 1 year and a half or two years I'm going to post a few downsides to it. First of all their solution for keeping physical games is pretty annoying. They fall out if you don't watch it when you open the case and then when you open them you have to be very careful or all the cartridges will fall out or even get thrown out.Secondly it has a tiny strap for strapping it into the case. For one the velcro will get very worn very quickly (and did) on that little tiny patch and secondly it would get caught in the zipper a lot (to the point mine got ripped and eventually fell off). The case is great for the outside (Though mine now the rubber outside is torn on some spots but it's just cosmetic reelly) and will protect the Nintendo but some of the interior design could have been better thought out. I will say if you are digital only it is probably nice having a nice pouch (where I put the cable) to put stuff in vs. having a cartridge holder on the middle part <- the other design I've seen on a similar style case that overall I thought was better designed inside the case).

Years later and still holding strong
I purchased this cover in 2017 and it’s still holding strong. Its traveled with me all over the world and could still pass for “fairly new”. Its hand drops like a pro and kept my switch safe. My only knock is the the included cartridge holder falls out easy with you remove the switch. If they add a little retention this case would be perfect.

Durable Feeling Carrying Case
The carrying case feels sturdy, and I feel comfortable throwing this into my backpack. It is a little bulky, but I'm not sure I'd feel safe if it was any less bulky. It fits the switch with joy cons attached, and I can fit a USB-C to USB-A cable in the mesh pouch with two joy con rails. My only gripe with this case is that the game cartridge aren't held into place in the carrying case and can just fall out if the carrying case is open and flipped over. It'd be nice if it held in with a tighter fit or had velcro.

It's a great looking case
It's a great looking case, but come on.. $20?? This case is very bulky for no reason. You can't put an ac adapter or hdmi in there. you can BARELY fit the joycon straps in there. The game cases at the bottom always falls out as everyone mentions. You're better off buying a $8 case similar to this, but much thinner. The design is awesome, but not worth the trade off of $12 extra and the bulk. To each their own.

Beautiful design!
The media could not be loaded. I love the design of this case! It's beautifully laser etched (not sure if that's accurate) onto the cover of the case. Design includes the Breath of the Wild logo with the Sheikah Eye or Link with a bow and arrow.I have a clear case installed on my Nintendo Switch when I travel (Nintendo Switch Case Transparent with 2 Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protector Starter Kit) and I was initially afraid that this travel case wouldn't be able to close with it on. That wasn't the case! The travel case closed perfectly without it bulging.A zippered flap cover with velcro straps securely holds your Nintendo Switch into place. The zippered pouch comfortably can hold your USB Type-C cable if you need to charge your system later. Two (2) game card cases are include and have a cutout on the base of the travel case for them to fit securely. Each game card case also includes a micro SD card case. Each micro SD card case can hold 2 micro SD cards. The game card cases can each hold up to 4 game cartridges. The micro SD card case takes the space of 1 game cartridge.Overall, this travel case is a great way to keep your Nintendo Switch protected while traveling. If you need to include a wall charger or any other accessories, you'll want something bigger than this.

Beautiful and quality made
I chose this travel case because it was a little larger than the one I originally bought. This holds my Switch which has a slim protective case with handles, plus it holds my Switch accessories. Very happy with the pocket, although this doesnt have quite the variety some cases do. That's more than made up for by the fact that my Switch fits in it with its protective case on. The artwork is also very appealing in a understated, classic way. Adds a very cool touch to the case. It's a great case overall and the stitching and material seem quality. I expect this to hold up well. Very happy with this purchase.

Great Product! Might Need Airing Out
This thing is going to be great on trips! I like having my expensive toys protected and babied, and this will do the trick. My only complaint seems to be a common one. It comes in with a strange odor that's its 'new product' smell. I'm probably going to find something better to spray the daylights out of it, or air it out on the deck. If anyone has any recommendations to rid it of the weird smell, it would be greatly appreciated!*Edit* If you have a citrus oil air freshener spray, spray a paper towel some and place it in the case with it closed but not zipped up for a day or two. Helped out immensely with my case's smell problem. Barely notice the offending odor anymore!
