Great nonstick benefits
Love my frying pans - they clean up very nicely, and have a very sturdy weight and feel to them. Great for benefit of nonstick. They arrived very well packaged.

Not worthwhile
Purchased and returned. No reason whatsoever to charge this much for nonstick, knowing the nonstick coating doesn’t hold up longer than a couple years max. Would repurchase if the nonstick editions were more reasonable, like Allclad does with their nonstick. Also, as someone who works in product design, who the heck thought that handle design was a great idea?! Food can and will get trapped in the crevice area where the handle meets the pan. Purchased a set of 10 and 12 inch T-fal nonstick for under $50. Quality is just as good as the Hestan (thoroughly inspected both). Once the coating starts to flake, we will toss them and purchase a new set without pain for $50. It’d be one thing if Hestan had a lifetime warranty that covers regular use (they don’t). The warranty is for manufacturing defects and for a limited time. It’s only a matter of time before the nonstick coating starts to give.

Best Forever / High Quality Pans
These high quality pans , the Pro Bond Hestan are worth every cent .. I initially ordered the large 12 in approx 6 months ago and love the cooking performance as well as the ease of clean up. They look new after every use . I have now purchased the 11 and the 8 in and got rid of all my old ones .. even bought them for my daughter.

This pan makes me smile. Needs no seasoning, but easily melts any butter or fat added for flavor.
The pan looks just like the photo. I am very pleased with its fast thermal transfer, sturdy but stay-cool handle and massive rivets for the handle. Have not tried it in a low-medium oven, but with no plastic parts, the possibility is there. I am very pleased with the ease of cooking and cleaning. I would say one of the best features is that the pan is forgiving of my mistakes. I notice that I need to turn the stove temperature down compared to other pans, because this one transfers heat into the food very quickly.

Fit, and finish is superb.
Amazing. Price is a bit steep, But, worth every bit. I love using a pan that heats evenly, And is a joy to clean.

Scam, used cheap scratched pans received.
First time I ordered these pans I fell in love. I ordered them again, for our second home and I am appalled. I received lightweight scratched used cheap crap. Never again. They are not even Heston brand. There is no brand name.

A NEARLY perfect Pan. And a bad design flaw.
A NEARLY perfect pan Hestan, are you reading this? You should. First off: I am a Product Designer. Love to cook, and I am a Master Craftsman and don’t tolerate bad tools well. Cooking IS design, you know… This pan is GREAT! (It’s had better be! $$$) It heats FAST and VERY evenly. The weight is perfect, the coating seems like it will last forever (I use silicone spatulas, etc.) The handle is fairly well designed, though it does adhere to tradition over ergonomics. It can get HOT, so watch that. The main complaint I have with the design of the pan relates to that handle. There is a finger stop on the underside that is a little too far from the pan. I realize it’s to keep you from being burned, and gives some power to the French Flip maneuver, but it feels awkward. The real issue is a very important one: THERE IS A SERIOUS DIRT-TRAP WHERE THE HANDLE IS SO NICELY RIVETED TO THE PAN! Now, the pan is great, and works well, but good luck getting sauce or food stuff out of the little pocket they create at the base of the handle on the top side! The pocket is NOT a tunnel, so to get anything out of there, you will need to probe with a toothpick, or even a Water-Pick! It is a seriously stupid and inexcusable lapse in design thinking. For the VERY high price we pay for these terrific pans, this should NOT be an issue. Food Safety is job one. You can see in my photos there are already bits of food stuck in the gap on the larger of the two pans. There is one pic of another pan, made by Anolon (another great pan!) and they precisely fit the cast aluminum silicone-coated handle (another thing Hestan could do) so there is ZERO chance of food getting stuck. There is room for a sponge or brush to sweep it clear very easily. NOT so with these Hestan’s. So, is it snobbery that keeps them from correcting this oversight? Maybe. These are promoted as fine cuisine tools. Well, they could be better. Minus TWO Michelin Stars from this critic.

I received the pans in used condition!! There was food stuck inside the pan and burnt bottoms. For the price that you pay for these pans, it is unacceptable to receive a package in this condition! Clearly these pans are not worth the price considering that someone used them and returned them as they did not hold up.
