Pebeo 4Artist Marker, Oil Paint Marker, 8 mm - Silver

The Silver is my absolute favorite! (Just wanted to get that out there ;) I use these markers all the time; love how quickly the 4Artist oil paint markers dry, and there is soooo much paint in each marker. My favorite way to use the paint is to drip and spatter from the larger marker tips on my mixed media artwork...and I use the small tips to sign my artworks + outline my other shapes. Super cool that I can use the markers on canvas, glass, metal, acrylic and other non-porous surfaces (like resin and shiny ceramic pots, too). This is liquid oil paint and is rewettable with the 4Artist Odorless Medium (same as odorless mineral spirits I use for oil painting), so I use brushes with the Medium to blend the paints together to get the colors I want. I can even use the Odorless Medium to REMOVE the paint from glass, etc., even after it's dry. Caution: use the special Pebeo acrylic based liquid 4Artist varnishes to seal artwork that uses these markers and make them permanent! Other varnishes that contain any solvents - especially the spray varnishes - could rewet the paint and ruin your artwork. Also, the shiny finish is cool. :D Pebeo 4Artist Marker

I wanted to hang a picture, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, I didn't want to shop for a frame. I had a 45 year old black photo frame that was the right size, but I wanted a gold frame. At first I had thought to get some paint, but when I saw this gold marker pen, I thought that would be a lot easier to use, and I was right! When I first saw how small the pen was, I was afraid that it would not have enough in it to cover the entire frame, but it covered it easily, dried incredibly quickly, and has the look of an antique gilded frame, which was exactly what I had wanted. I am delighted with this product!

I ordered paint pen because I wanted to refurbish my dresser and wanted copper Hardware however anywhere I looked it was kind of pricey and I actually had some here I just needed a touch up easy to use nice oil based permanent and seems to be quite a bit of pain inside

Shook it up, pushed the tip down on the art item and.. nothing- needs more pushing to get the paint to go to the tip. Be careful, when it come out it comes. I used it to highlight areas of an acrylic painted item. Item was gold colored and the marker gold the the acrylic was just the final touch it needed. Love the ease, it was used on small detailed areas.

I have not used this yet as I am going to take a class and this is on the supply list.
